Chapter 10

Lexie's POV
It was 9:34 when I woke up literally Mark woke up 6 seconds after I did. "Good morning." he said while yawning in between. "Guess what? Our babies are one year old today." I said while tearing up. "Hey its okay they're going to grow up someday." he said trying to make me smile. Which I smiled a little for him. "I know these years just seem so surreal with the plane crash giving birth to twins! I'm wondering what's in store for us next in our ass crazy lives. I can't believe we made it through the year."

Just then my phone pinged, It was a text from Jackson, April had just given birth. "What's up babe." Mark asked questionably. "Nothing, April just had her kids." I told him. Just then we hear crying coming from McKade's room. I went to get him dressed while Mark got Marcus up and dressed also.

We met downstairs 13 minutes later, surprisingly Mark found the outfit I laid out for Marcus and put it on. We ate breakfast and then went to the hospital, 1- Mark had to work today and 2- April just gave birth and as her only friend that wasn't on-call, I was going to spend the day with her. When I hoped out of my car I popped up the stroller got the kids out of the car.

Luckily, they were small babies so they still fit in the carrying car seats which was such a relief. Mark and I love the carriers because its easier to carry those instead of trying to get a sleeping baby out of the other kind of car seat without waking them up. After their carriers were in the stroller I locked the car and headed to the elevator then I pushed floor 2, Labor and delivery and entered April's room.

April's POV
I had just given birth to two beautiful children a boy and a girl, Blake Jackson Avery and Karlee Christina Avery. It was so nice to finally have three beautiful children to call my own, After Samuel things got rough between Jackson and I we almost, almost got divorced but then things happened and I got pregnant with Liam and we worked everything out. "They look just like us!" Jackson commented while I was day dreaming. "Well they obviously do, they're our kids!" I replied back to him.

Just then Lexie walked in the door with her kids, They just turned one today our kids have the same birthdays. "Hey how did it go?" Lexie asked me. "While after about 30 hours of labor, fine" I replied. "Well at least it wasn't almost 34 like mine." Lexie said chuckling. "I'm so so sorry babe one of my patients was just admitted to the E.R. I can try to find someone to cover it." Jackson told me with a concerned look on his face. "Go It's fine Lexie's here and my sister will be here in two hours so its fine go help your patient" I told him. Then he kissed me and headed for the door. "So what are there names?" Lexie asked me. "Blake Jackson and Karlee Christina" I replied.

"This is the most asked question you'll get I promise, I got it all the time! Whose older?" Lexie asked me. "Well, It was Blake." I replied kinda guessing because I wasn't actually sure. "Hey I have a question for you and Mark." I told her. "What is it?" she replied. "Jackson and I were wondering if you and Mark would be the twins Godparents. Because Mark is like a dad to Jackson." "Definitely!" She replied. Then she gave me a hug. It was just my kids, Lexie's kids, me and her. I love my kids. I love my life.

3 Week's later

Arizona's POV
I can't believe what I'm about to tell Mark, Lexie and Callie. The first one I see is Lexie walking down the hall with a stroller. "Hey Arizona!" she said while walking twords me. "Hey, Can I talk to you in private?" I asked her. "Sure." She said. Then we went and found an empty on-call room and we went in there and locked the door. "Well, I found out about 10 minutes ago that I'm pregnant!" I said almost screaming not knowing my feelings towards this. "Wow oh my god! I'm so happy for you!" Lexie said while giving me a hug.

"Can you tell Mark? Just please don't tell Callie though, please." I asked her. "Sure, No problem." Lexie said. Then we both went on our separate ways. Then I saw Callie just as I was walking out of the on-call room, I grabbed her arm and dragged her in there. "Calliope Iphegenia Torres guess what?" I asked Callie. "What babe?" Callie responded looking down at her phone. "I'm pregnant!" I blurted out to Callie. Callie stood there with a huge smile on her face. "We're going to be a family of five?" She asked me questionably.

"Yes!" I told her while hugging her. "What are we going to tell the girls?" Callie asked. "I don't know but I gotta run." I told her while walking out of the on-call room.

Lexie's POV
"Hey Lex do you have a minute?" My brother-in-law asked me. "Yeah whats up?" I asked him. "Can you and Mark watch the kids tonight, I'm planning a special evening with Mer." He asked me. "Mark is going to be here until around 1:50 because of a surgery, But I can do it, I'll ask Kepner tho if that's okay." I replied back to Derek. " That's perfect! Can you be there at 6:00?" he asked me. "Yeah?" I replied then Derek gave me a hug and walked away "You owe me one!" I yelled after him. He gave me a thumbs up and walked away.

As I was walking to check on my kids at the daycare center I ran into Jackson. "Hey how are the kid's?" I asked Jackson. "Good." Jackson replied. "Do you know what April's doing tonight?" I asked him. "I have a surgery with Mark until 1:50 a.m. but she's isn't doing anything, at least I don't think so." Jackson told me. "Okay thanks" I said. Then I walked into the daycare center to pick up my two little guys.

Once I got the boys I headed over to Aprils house. Once I got to April's house I knocked on the door and a very dirty, very smelly April opened the door. "Hey Lexie what's up?" April asked me. "Never mind you look really tired." I stated. "No, I'm not tired I'm energizedddddddd" April said while dozing off. "Sure. Go sleep, NOW!" I said firmly. "Okay, Bye Lex." She said as she closed the door in my face. I guess i'll ask Jo.
