Claudia's POV

-Drink up everybody!- Thomas exclaimed before we all drank another round. It was the 7th one, just to specify.

-Ugh!- Javi shook his head quickly which made him look like a Labrador who just got out of the water. That image was way too hilarious for me not laught. I burst into laughter and felt everyone's eyes on me. The staring moment lasted only for a minute. After that everyone else, including Javi started laughing as well.

Give people some alcohol and everything will become entertaining.

-I feel like dancing! Let's go dancing Lis!- Thomas suddenly exclaimed as he grabbed Lisa's hand. She seemed surprised but she instantly followed her husband.

-Dancing, why haven't I thought about it?- Toni shouted as he quickly stood up. Clearly he went a bit dizzy because for a moment he looked like he was going to fall down like a classic timbo. Surprisingly nothing like this happened. As soon as he recovered his balance he went straight to the dance floor. And let me tell you the way he moved, made me love the drunken Kroos much more than the sober one.

-So what? You, me, dance floor, now?- Bastian asked when we were the only people who were still sitting at our previously reserved table.

-Dancing on 6-inch heels is not a good idea and dancing on 6-inch heels after drinking way too much is one of the worst ideas I could ever think of- I pointed at Ann who just fell down dragging Mario with her- I think I'll pass.

-Yeah, probably that's a great idea- Bastian answered as he was obviously trying not to laugh.

-I should've brought my camera here. This team is really out of this planet. Even when it comes to your drinking skills.

-Well a party video would be a windfall for the fans. Especially Javi's dance- this time Bastian pointed at his teammate doing, or rather trying to do the Macarena dance. Saying he didn't succeed wouldn't be enough.

-There's nothing like Spanish drunk players after winning over BVB, trust me- Bastian winked at me and I couldn't help but noticing it made me feel something at the pit of my stomach.

-Next time I'll sure as hell record everything- I smiled widely at him.

-I like this- Bastian said after a second of just looking at me.

-This?

-You and me, together. Like old times- he explained as a wide beam appeared on his face.

-I might look like old times but a lot has changed. Couple years ago we were definitely not celebrating your victory with your team who won the triple twice in a row, couple years ago your hair wasn't this dark and...

-Couple years ago you weren't a mom. Not that being a mom doesn't suit you. It suits you as hell- Bastian continued his drunk talk which made me giggle- How did you even become a mother?

-Bastian I'm sure you do realize how people produce kids- I replied trying to ignore that due to the dangerous hint to the "s" word my cheeks went red.

-Of course I know, you might have taught me something about that some time ago- Bastian continued the hint which made me feel like I was burning from the inside. I could say more, I knew that fire very well. It was the fire which I felt through my entire relationship with Bastian- What I meant was... I don't even know how to start.

-I suggest starting from the beginning- I encouraged him.

-Okay, hit me if you think I crossed the line. I've done some math and it seems like you got pregnant after our break-up. Like a really short time after our break-up.

-You think Alex's yours?- I exclaimed and started laughing like crazy.

-I was just wondering cause you know I've never heard a thing about his father- Bastian shrugged his arms, he clearly felt embarrassed.

-You've never heard a thing about him because he's not worth even a single letter- I mumbled without looking at Bastian.

-Was he that bad?

-Well depends how bad you find leaving a pregnant girl on her own without leaving even a letter. Not to mention not giving a damn about your own son- I said gaining the courage to look at Bastian but he remained quiet.

-Fucking horrendous- Bastian finally said and the actual anger in his voice made me realize that even though we were over for a long time he still cared about me- Really fucking horrendous.

-Yeah, believe me that's exactly what I think- I answered and smiled lightly. That was the great result of mixing alcohol and Bastian. I couldn't stay bitter for too long.

-Honestly Claudia someone who let somebody like you go is a complete idiot, and believe me I know what I'm talking about- Bastian said as he moved closer to me. Now we were only inches away from each other. I could feel the heat of his body radiating on mine.

-Stop Bastian- I wanted to nudge him but he was faster. He caught me hand and squeezed it delicately.

-I'm serious Claudia, you're an amazing person, extremely beautiful inside and outside and only a fool would ever let perfection slip away- he said as he was still holding my hand while his other hand lifted my chin and forced me to look into his eyes- I was a fool to let you go, I didn't fight for you...

-Let's pretend you did- the passion in my voice surprised both of us- Let's pretend we never broke up...

I didn't get to finish my speech because Bastian's lips smashed into mine. And even though we were in a loud club, I didn't hear or feel anything than Bastian. When I felt his tongue on my lips combined with his warm hand touching me I couldn't stop myself from letting out a moan. At this moment we both felt that well known fire. It was just like old times.
