-A bossy, sarcastic little piece of geek. How original- Bastian answered mocking the girl's voice.
Even though she tried hard Claudia couldn't stop herself from letting out a small chuckle.
-You do realize that we have a massive test tomorrow, right?- Claudia asked when Basti turned on the TV.
-I do but why on earth should I know what nucelus is?
-It's nucleus smartass.
-See I don't even know how to pronounce this. When the hell will I ever need it?
-Well maybe someday when you're gonna be a worldwide known footballer you'll meet a fan who'll be absolutely crazy about bio and you'll be able to impress her with your knowledge about replication of DNA?
-Hmm that sound quite interesting. Maybe we could have some practical form replication...- Bastian winked and Claudia could feel her cheeks turning red.
-You're horrible Schweinsteiger!- Claudia tried to throw her pencil case at the young footballer but like always she missed.
-If I'm horrible than there's no word good enough to describe your throwing skills- Basti smirked.
-Well I have brain you have throwing skills.
-Speaking bout brains I cannot study anymore.
-You've studied for like 2 hours. That's nothing!
-Maybe for you nerd but for me it's way too much. I want to be a kid again. No school, no tests no anything. Just pure fun.
-Sweet childhood years are not coming back so better sit down and learn something.
-I refuse to do that! I've an idea. Let's go outside do something! Something silly, carefree. Hide and seek! We haven't done that for ages!- Basti suddenly shouted. The sparkles of excitement were shining in his eyes.
-The reason why we haven't done that for ages is the fact that we're no longer 9 years old.
-Oh come on! Don't act like an old aunt. Let's go!
-You're ridiculous. Plus you always lost when we played so why do you even wanna play loser?- Claudia asked when she closed her book.
-Maybe I didn't lose. Maybe I just let you win to see that cheeky smile of yours- Bastian said as he moved towards Claudia.
She could feel her heart beating faster when Bastian grabbed her hand.
She looked at their fingers collided and smiled shyly. Basti looked into her hazel eyes and a huge grin appeared on his face. He helped her stand up and all of sudden they were only few inches away from each other. Bastian felt Claudia's long hair tickling his cheeks. He cupped her face and slowly pulled her closer to him.
When Basti's soft lips touched her lips Claudia felt butterflies flying in her stomach. She waited for this moment for so long but it was definitely worth the waiting.
-Fine. We'll play hide and seek- she whispered when they broke away from each other.
-To be honest I don't really want you to hide from me now- Basti answered quietly before kissing her again.
