We were off. Headed off to this supposed to be, greatest club ever. I had researched the club, and the Google told me that it was a popular new place invented by one of the most wealthiest bachelors in the state. It was supposed to be the greatest thing that has happened here.
As our silver chromed hummer pulled into the valet parking of the club, I could see that it was super packed. Everyone in Manhattan had to be here. A line longer than my werewolf eyes could see was outside the entrance, and a huge werewolf with mocha skin was stationed at the front. He wore all black clothes with black shades on, and his muscular arms were crossed over his chest to make him appear bigger.
Lola parked at the valet, and once we got out, she toss her keys into the hands of the valet. "Take care of her Orlando." She winked at him, and he flashed her a smile before mockingly saluting her.
We started walking and immediately I headed for the back of the line.
"Where are you going?" Lola asked from behind me.
I looked behind me to see that she was still in the same spot. I answered, "To the back of the line?"
She laughed at me before shaking her head. "Don't you remember who owns this place? My brother you goof, and I don't go to the back of any lines." She grabbed my hand and pulled me to the front of the line with her. We were getting heated glares from almost everyone in the line. Some people even yelled at us.
At the front, the bouncer took one look at Lola, and didn't even hesitate to let us through.
"What the hell man!" People in the line were yelling at the bouncer, and some were yelling at us angrily.
Lola barely even noticed as she dragged me through the entrance of the club. I started to hear the loud music pulsing through the thick air. When we entered the club, I could feel the bass from the music throbbing in my ears. People were everywhere. At the center of the club was the dance floor. Couples could be seen grinding on each other and girls who came with their friends were on the floor shaking their asses. The guys who came with their friends were either with some random girl, or were standing along the walls watching the dance floor. The bar was huge and there were all kinds of people perched on the plush stools.
Strobe lights were everywhere. There was a disco ball which shone lights all over the place, along with white strobe lights that flickered on and off super fast. Smoke machines were hidden in the floors around the dance floor. Smoke waded through the air harmlessly, and circled and enticed people from the social tables to the dance floor. Sweat dripped from the faces of the dancers, and bright seductive smiles were set in place.
"Come on!" Lola yelled excitedly over the loud music.
We mad our way over to the bar, and I saw that there were many bartenders present in order to get everyone's orders. Lola and I sat at the bar, and immediately after, a bartender was in front of us.
"May I help you ladies?" He smiled at us, and winked slyly at Lola.
I couldn't blame him for flirting with her. Lola looked very stunning tonight with her tight dark red mini dress hugging her body in all the appropriate ways. Her dark brown hair was styled messily down her back and spilled out in luxurious waves. Her black stilettos, and deep red matte lipstick just set the whole look.
She crossed her long legs and leaned on one of her manicured hands before smiling. "Two panty droppers please."
A look of uncertainty passed over the young bartenders face. "I don't think Mr. Ace would appreciate me serving his baby sister alcohol."
A pout passed over Lola's face and he immediately searched for a solution that would please her. "We have plenty of other nice drinks that are non-alcoholic?"
"Come on Simon," Lola whined while putting her hand over his. "Just this one time? Pretty pretty please?"
Simon's resolve faded and he gave us the drinks, a frown etched on his face at his own weakness. He walked away having to attend to other customer's needs.
Obviously I've underestimated Lola. She seemed to know exactly what she was doing one minute, but in another minute she was just as bubbly and oblivious as she led everyone to believe. Interesting.
That's when I noticed a piercing stare. I had been scanning the crowd before catching eyes with a red headed girl who was very pretty. She seemed to be glaring at me from afar. Back at my old packs, girls would look at me like this all the time. They hated me, even though I had never done anything to earn their hatred.
Remembering that I was powerless than, spurred me into movement towards her direction. I may have been powerless then, but I'm sure as hell not now. I held her gaze as I walked towards her, leaving Lola to her own devices. The girl seemed shocked that I was walking towards her, but she quickly cooled her features, and a cunning smirk quickly replaced the shock.
When I got to her, I smiled. "I couldn't help but to notice that you're staring at me."
She laughed. "Who me? Staring at you? Surely not."
My smile quickly faded. "Is there a problem?"
She stood up, not liking the height advantage I had on her. Keep in mind that I'm a very short person, so when she stood, she towered over me. "Yeah there's a problem. You're little friend over there was flirting with my boyfriend."
Oh. I had misjudged her gaze. She had been glaring at Lola, because Simon was this chicks boyfriend. "Oh please, Lola could do way better than that if she really wanted to."
The girls face flamed up bright red and her eyes took on a murderous look. "I don't have a problem with you because I don't even know you, but Lola's been flirting with literally every guy in this club. She thinks just because her brother owns this place that she can do whatever the hell she wants, and I'm sick of it. "
"Look I'm not your psychiatrist, I didn't ask for your back story. Lola's my friend so if you have a problem with her, than you have a problem with me." I stepped up into her face, and made sure she was looking at me in the eyes before I said, "trust me when I say that you don't want these problems."
I could tell she was furious, but considering our werewolf genes, her wolf could obviously sense that I had her beat, height aside. And so I let my wolves electric blue eyes show, my wolf wanting to dominate her.
I realized that she was still standing, and my wolf decided she didn't like this. "Sit."
I could see her wolf trying to fight the command my wolf gave her. She was strong, but not strong enough because not even five seconds after our showdown, she was sitting down heavily on her butt. Pleased with myself, I patted her head with a big smile on my face and said, "good girl."
I caught Lola's gaze on the way back to her, and she nodded her head to the dance floor. I nodded my head before chugging my panty dropper, and heading to the dance floor after her. I needed to let lose.
