WARNING: The following chapter contains-blood, Gore, suicide and torture. You have been warned.

A darkness had engulfed me completely. I felt like I was floating. I was suspended into the air, floating among the clouds and dancing merrily with the stars. A smile graced my face as I spotted my Pisces star. The star smiled back before winking at me saucily.

I giggled to myself. Silly star.

"Li-" I hear a small voice at the back of my mind calling to me. What is it trying to say?

"Lind-" The whispering voice called again. I was trying desperately to ignore it, because I was having the best time of my life just floating.

"Lindsey!" It was a shout. It was enough to turn me around to search for the voice. I was on the ground now instead of in the clouds. The voice had grounded me to reality. Well, something like that.

On the ground it was snowing. The Moon was full and appeared closer than I have ever seen it. I could see almost all of the craters embedded into the moon. The stars seemed too far away from me, and the sky was shrouded in darkness.

I found the source of the noise. It was an older woman with warm brown skin that matched mine. Her dark brown hair was dreaded down her back and reached her butt. Laugh lines graced the corner of her eyes and mouth. She was a woman of age. A woman whom age has treated very well. The woman I had had visions about in Ace's office.

"Lindsey, my sweet. My precious girl." She glided over to where I stood in shock. Her hand reached to grab my face but I moved away from it quickly. "You've grown so perfectly over the years. The last time I saw you, you were only seven months."

"Who are you?" I asked her, though I seemed to already know. Her scent filled my nostrils and recognition overcame my being. I knew exactly who she was.

"It's me Lindsey. It's your grandmother." She said wistfully. Her eyes raked over my body in adoration.

"Where am I?"

"You're unconscious right now my dear child. That's why I am here. You aren't safe Lindsey."

I tsked and waved her words away. "I know, but Ace will find me soon enough and he'll kill Xavier."

My grandmother shook her head at me. "It is not Xavier who you should be worried about my love. There is a greater danger threatening to overpower you. You will need all of your strength."

"What is it that's got you so worried?" I asked, my head was spinning, and I grew slightly aware of my body. I was beginning to wake up.

"There's not much time. You have to embrace your witch side as well as your wolf side. Your wolf and your witch nature must become one for you to overcome a new threat. I foresaw a prophecy. I cannot tell you anymore.

"I can feel you slipping away Lindsey. You must heed my words."

Before I could reply, I felt like I was falling. My heart stopped and my stomach flipped. I shot up from the floor, sweat covering my whole body. I was gasping really loudly as my heart pounded away in my chest.

I took my hand and swiped it across my forehead, trying to get rid of the perspiration I felt gathering there. I looked around me, trying to gather my thoughts and figure out just where the hell I was.

I was in a cell. To my right was Mackenzie, she was wide awake. She had her arms wrapped around her knees, and her chin was resting on them.

"Mackenzie." I rasped out. My throat was dry and raw. I craved water intensely at that moment.
