"Mom I'm going jogging don't wait up!" I yelled over my shoulder as I headed out the door.
"Wait, take Dolce with you" my mom called back to me. Dolce is our very crazy Pomeranian, who I really enjoy being around because he alway's seems makes me happy. So I grabbed his leash, attached it to his collar, and we headed out. As soon as I locked my door Dolce began hauling ass! He's like my own personal trainer because it's like we're alway's running 24/7. As we continued on we began approaching this really secluded area which actually started to creep me out a bit. So I figured if we kept running we can easily get through it. I glanced up and noticed that there were no street signs so I had no clue of where we were.
"Way to pick the perfect spot to jog" I sarcastically said to Dolce, I know it may seem weird to talk to your dog but right about now he's the only company I have. At that very moment I got the urge to look behind me, so I did and saw that I indeed did have more company. It looked as though they were following me but then again that could just be my imagination, I mean I've seen people walk in the same direction as me but that doesn't mean that they were following me. I immediately erased the thought from my head and continued on with my jog.
I then heard footsteps getting closer and closer to me, it began freaking me out so I ran a little faster, but I'm guessing they were trying to keep up with me because their pace quickened also. I took the chance of glancing behind me once again and instantly wished that I hadn't because they weren't to far from me now. That's when I sped off as quick as possible, I've been on the track team ever since 5th grade and I'm now a sophmore in high school, I thought, so they can't possibly be close to me now. When I looked down I was happy to see that Dolce was still far ahead of me, glad to know the little dog can keep up with me, I started to smile at the thought but once I looked behind me my smile soon slipped away. Not only were my pursuers about 2 and a half yards away from me but they were running at the same speed as me!
My heart started pounding really fast and I knew that it wasn't because of my running because I could run about 10 blocks at this speed without breaking a sweat. I then heard both of them bark out in laughter, and that made me all the angrier. So these guys must be some type of sadistic killers, their getting joy out of my anxiety. "Not for long" I whispered to myself. Maybe I can out smart them, so I came to a complete stop, while being yanked a little by Dolce, but he soon got the memo and stopped to trot towards me. It seems these 2 had the same idea in mind because they stopped right next to me on either side.
"Why'd you stop?" one of them asked, I could easily tell that they were both males at this point seeing as how they were both standing right next to me. I glared at the one that spoke to me.
"Because you were following me and I'd like to know why" I angrily yelled at him. I heard a growl behind me and saw that Dolce was actually backing me up on this.
"Thanks alot Lean, you got me a mouthy one" Lean bursted into laughter and I just stood there confused. Got him a mouthy one? What does he mean by that?
"What do you mean he got you a mouthy one?" I cursiously asked.
"Well your coming with Samael and I" Lean explained.
"No I'm not!" I yelled and turned around to start running when a hand yanked me back by the shoulder, nearly breaking my arm.
"I don't think so, we've already played a nice game of cat and mouse with you already" Samael spoke. Dolce began barking at my sudden capture.
"Look, can we get rid of the dog now?" Lean demanded more than asked Samael.
"No" I screamed "he's mine! you can't just get rid of him" I almost started to cry but I figured tears would only make them all the more happier.
