Drain Me

Chapter 8

     He silently looked down at me with a smile plastered on his face. I knew he wanted me to be changed almost as much as I did. I wanted to be with him for as long as possible and the only way that that could happen is if I were a vampire as well. 

        "Say something" I whispered to him, dropping my gaze and staring at the waving water that continued to rub against my knees. 

        "Are you sure?" 

        "More than I'll ever be" I replied, this time looking him in his beautiful brown eyes. He moved closer to me, embracing me in one strong arm. he tilted his head and brought his lips closer to me but stopping at my ear. He began to use his thumb to make small invisible circles on my bare neck. 

        "I love you" he whispered in my ear before sinking his razor sharp teeth deep into me. At first my eyes were bulging but once he released himself from me they slowly began to drop. Once they shut completely it felt as though I was completely paralyzed. My body fell limp, and no matter how much I struggled I could not wake up my body. Although I couldn't move and my eyes were completely shut I was not asleep, I was completely aware of the world around me. I might not've been able to see what was happening, but I knew that he had picked me up, and I knew he was driving us back to the mansion, and I knew that in a couple of hours I would be a vampire.

      Once we arrived at the mansion he picked me up in his arm and ran inside, my heart nearly dropped at the speed we were traveling in. Once inside I over heard him speaking to Selene. 

      "Selene, I need help" I heard Samael speak to her in a panicked voice. What did he mean he needed help?

        "What happened?" she gasped. 

        "I drank to much" although I wanted to gasp in shock I couldn't. He drank my blood?

        "Samael how could you!?" Selene yelled at him. She took the words right out of my mouth, how could he drink my blood when I trusted him?

        "It's not like I tried to, she asked me to change her but once I sunk my teeth in her I completely lost control" he explained in a ashamed voice. 

        "Take her upstairs to her room and just leave her in her bed" 

        "Shouldn't we give her a blood transfusion or something?" he raised his voice at her. 

        "If you give her a blood transfusion she won't change, but if you leave her like this then in a couple of hours... She may or may not make it"

        "What do you mean she may not make it?" 

        "If she's lacking a lot of blood then death might catch up before the venom is able to spread through her". So I might not live through the change!? I was getting more and more angered by Samael more and more. "Just take her to her room and lay her on the bed. We'll see what happens later on" Selene yelled at him. He then ran down the hall and up the stairs, I heard a door open and I was instantly placed on a bed and under the covers. He sat on the other end of the bed. 

        "Corrine, I'm so sorry for what I did. I don't know if you can hear me or not but if you can then you can yell at me all you want when you wake up. Just please wake up... For me" he cried. How could I be mad at him? He sounded so sad and sincere, but he had no right to practically drain me of all my blood! Of course I was going to yell at him once I woke up... Or if I woke up.

Sorry about this chapter being so short, I would've made it longer but I figured it would just be best to not continue on this chapter. But I still hope you all like it :)
