Chapter 1: First Day of 12th Grade

Mackenna P.O.V

Omg! I'm so freaking excited! It's the first day of my senior year in high school!! I'm smiling like crazy and I bet God is looking down from the heavens at me like: "What the hello is wrong with this girl!?" But I don't care who's looking to be honest. I'm just sooo ready for school! (This is the first time I actually said that!!)

I look across my school clothes with an enormous smile on my face.

I'm wearing a grey shirt that says 'Take It Easy' with sky blue jeans, a grey beanie, along with my grey Vans. I put on light mascara and black glasses without lenses. So what if you say "That's so geeky" Well guess what. I'm geeky and I'm proud!!

After I finished, I ran downstairs to see my Mom and Dad making out. I walk down quietly until I reach the bottom of the stair case.

"Ewww!! Get a room!" I yelled after a minute of watching them. I'm weird, I know. And I love it!!

My Mom and Dad pull away with a laugh.

"I'm sorry, baby. We'll get a room just for you." My Mom says.

"Please do." I say with a scoff.

My Mom gasps and looks at me in amusement.

"Oh My Gosh...Mackenna you look soo beautiful. Clearly you get it from me." She says with a chuckle.
My Dad playfully smacks her arm and laughs.

I really do look like my Mom. She has green eyes with blonde, long hair. She has brownish skin tone because she is mixed with African-American and Carcassion.

I look like my Dad in a way. He has sparkly blue eyes, brown curly hair and has scattered freckels (something I'm glad I didn't inherent). He's fully Carcassion which is why I'm a cream-caramelish color. I have blue sparkly eyes like my Dad and brownish-blonde curly hair like my Mom and Dad.

"And your Dad." She says teasingly.

"We HAVE to take school pics!" She runs off into the kitchen and then into her room and comes back into the lounge with a camera, her IPhone 5s and my Dad's Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Me and my father laugh at her excitement.

"Yes, you do look very beautiful." My Dad says playfully pulling my cheek and then kisses my forehead.

"Thanks." I say softly.

"Ok! Enough love, it's picture time. Mackenna, baby. I think you're gonna go to school blind because of the flash." My Mom says causing me to giggle.

After a 100,000 pictures,  I'm finally satisfied.

"Ok! Ok! Enough pictures! I have to go Ma." I said.

"Aww. I wasn't done," She poutes. "But I'll let you go."

"Aren't you dropping me off to school?" I ask with a confussed look on my face.

"No need for that baby." She hands me a key and a key pad.

"W-What?!??" I scream, "You got me a car!? OMG!!" I shriek.

They nod their head and pull me outside. Outside sits a Black Ford Fusion Titanium. I scream and jump up and down and run towards the car.

"Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!" I scream. I get in and melt inside the leather seats. Omg, this feels so good!

"Get to school without an accident please." My Dad chuckles.

"Okay. Byee!!" I start the car and drive off to school. Here I come, ready or not.
