Mackenna POV

We all laughed at Jamal and DeShawn's argument. It was so vile, I don't even wanna tell you what it was about.

"Man, a pencil doesn't count as big. That's probably why she text broke up with you." DeShawn said.

Jamal rolled his eyes. "She didn't break up with me, she just said she needed to talk to me."

"Isn't it obvious? She's gonna dump you, so you dump her first." Kenneth said. I elbowed him for being mean.

"Girlfriend's got a hold on you Kenneth." DeShawn said laughing.

"I know yours will soon." I said smirking. He knew what I was talking about so he blushed and looked down.

Everyone at the table laughed at DeShawn. But Carlee stared cluelessly at us.

"DeShawn has a girlfriend?" Carlee said, and for a second, just for a second, I could have sworn I saw a hint of jealously in her eyes.

I smirked. So she does like him! I know my friend inside out, she liked DeShawn.

"Not yet." Kenneth said smiling at the two.

"Okay..." Carlee trailed off.

Jamal's laughter stopped and his face held a shocked expression. "I can't believe it..."

"Really?!" DeShawn says.

"Well believe it baby." A voice said. I turned around. He looked kind of familiar.

"What are you doing here?" Jamal asked the voice. I turned around to see it was a boy who was soo fine. I almost forgot I was already in a relationship. Almost.

I was snapped back into reality by Kenneth who put his arm around my shoulders. I didn't notice it before, but the boy was staring back at me.

"And you are?" Carlee asked.

"Alesso, but I prefer Les." He said still staring at me. I averted my gaze to the ground and he averted his to Kenneth's arm on my shoulder and then Carlee.

"Carlee..." She said.

"This is my dear step-brother Les." Jamal said.

"This is Mackenna, Kenneth's girlfriend." He said putting an emphasis on girlfriend. "The one we dared Kenneth to sleep with." He laughed at the memory. I smiled.

Les rolled his eyes. Why did he put an emphasis on girlfriend. I mean sure he was staring at me, but it doesn't mean anything.

"Whatever." Les said. "Well can I sit?"

"Sure." I said scooting over. Kenneth pushed me back to the left.

"Make space so Les can sit." I told Kenneth pushing him back over to the right.

"No, he can sit with his brother." Kenneth said pushing me back to the left. What the heck was his problem?
