CHAPTER 8: How much it hurts

This time... I'm asking her out already.

*FOLLOWING DAY*

I woke up to find myself laying on the floor instead of my bed. I had a good dream. My dream was Jade saying yes to me, accpeting me in her life. I just wish I won't ruin it today.

*FLASHBACK*

"I'll continue doing the research. Just take a rest"  I tell Jade as she takes a seat on her bed. (A/N: This happened when Jade and Niall were doing their research. I didn't add it on the past chapters. :) ) It was silent for the whole time and all I could hear is myself typing. I glance over at Jade to find her already asleep. She must've been tired. Her cellphone was just laying around the bed. So I decided to put my number in it and I decided to get her number without her noticing.

I finished doing my part on the research and left a note for Jade that I left without even bothering waking her up. I head down to where her parents are already and I said my goodbyes to them.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I got my phone which is just on top of my desk and started texting Jade.

"To: Jade Carter

Hey are you busy today? If not, is it okay if I come by at your house at around 3:30 in the afternoon. I have to tell you something very important

From: Niall Horan"  I pressed the send button and waited for her reply. I brought my phone with me and head down to eat my breakfast. I didn't bother checking the date. All I know is that it's a Sunday.

I waited for minutes for her to reply. But still, nothing. Why isn't she replying? 

That's when I realized her phone is broke because of the pool. When Ashley's friends pushed her into the pool. Her phone was in her pocket, so ofcourse it got wet. I slip my phone back into my pocket.

Now how am I supposed to go ask her out? Think Niall. Think. 

A sudden idea came in my mind. I could just call her landline at their flat. Jade gave me her landline when we were over at my flat doing the research last time.

*ANOTHER FLASHBACK*

"Niall, I have to go. It's getting late. If you need anything, this is my landline. Call me if you need anything."  Jade says whilst handling me a piece of paper with numbers on it.

"Okay..."  I just replied to her as I guided her to our door before she leaves.

"Bye Mrs. Horan"  She says as she waves goodbye at my mum

"Oh...Jade. Call me Ms. Gallagher"  My mum says with a smile

"Ohh? kayy..."  Jade just replies confused with a smile.We left my flat and walk with Jade home and explained to her everything.

"You see. My mum and dad devorced. I should be living with my dad now but I just decided to live my mum for the mean time."  I tell her as she feels ashamed not knowing about that story

"Ohh... my god. I'm so sorry Niall. I didn't mean to. Tell your mum I'm soooo sorry. I really didn't know that. Now she's probably mad at me. Niall, please tell her I'm sorry and I didn't mea-"

"Relax Jade...It's fine. She's not mad. She knows that you don't know about that. And yes, I would tell her"  I say as we approached closer to Jade's flat.
