It's been a month since the Volturi has come and gone. Bella and Nessie are safe and the best part of my forever. Bella still hasn't shown any signs of being a new vampire. She almost doesn't have to wear the contacts anymore when Charlie comes around, which is really great. Nessie has gotten really big. She looks and acts as if she's 2 or 3 years old instead of 5 months.
It's the end of January; with some snow still on the ground; when the family received a letter from Kate and Garrett. They are getting married at the being of March and want all of us to be there; including the wolves. Kate knew Jacob won't leave Nessie and Seth won't leave Jake. But Sam and the rest of the pack didn't want to go. They like Kate and her family but they just didn't want to be around other vampires they didn't know and leave La Push unprotected.
The whole family was excited. To Bella, Nessie, Jake, and Seth this was a new experience. And to Alice it was a chance to go on a shopping spree for new clothes.
"Wow I can't believe Kate and Garrett are getting married after only knowing each other for a few months." Bella said surprised. "I'm really happy for them."
"Well Bella, they aren't getting any younger. And well when you know you just know. Edward knew you was meant for him when...." Alice started.
"Umm." I said with a warning look to Alice as I stepped on her foot.
"He knew he couldn't say away from you." Alice finished. She was about to say something else that I didn't want her to say.
"Why did you interrupt me Edward? I wasn't going to tell her." Alice thought angrily.
"Sorry Alice." I told her.
"Thank you Edward."
"Edward why are you sorry?" Bella asked me.
"Because I stepped on Alices's foot." I told her.
Bella just gave me her 'Idon't believe you' look and walked out of the room.
"Edward you need to tell her. She already knows you're keeping something from her." Alice told me.
"I know Alice. I just don't know how to tell her. It might make her mad at me. It's been over 2 years and I never told her." I told her. "Saving her wasn't the only reason I fell in love with her. It was just kind of the icing on the cake."
"You still need to tell her."
"I will. I just don't know when."
"It needs to be sometime soon. Well we girls are going shopping. So you guys have fun." and Alice walked towards the garage.
The girls went shopping, Nessie's outside playing in the snow with Jake and Seth. I wonder what the guys are doing?
"Hey what are you guys doing?" I asked as I walked towards the living room.
"Playing Rock Band 2 on the Xbox 360. Do you want to join us and be our bass player?" Emmett asked me.
"Sure why not. The girls went shopping and the kids are outside playing."
We just started playing when Nessie came inside.
"Hey Daddy do you care if I go down to the rez with Jake and Seth to play with the other kids?" she asked me.
"Go ahead. Just be home before it gets dark. We leave in the morning for Alaska." I told her.
"Thanks Daddy and we will be. I love you."
"I love you too, Nessie." She gave me a kiss and walked out the door with Jake and Seth.
"Man Eddy, you are going to have your hands full with her when she is older.: Emmett kidded.
I really hated itt when he called me Eddy. My own wife doesn't even call me Eddy and if she did she would be the only one who could.
We played Rock Band for an hour when my cell phone started ringing. It was Bella.
"Hello love. Are you having fun shopping?" I asked her.
"Yes Edward, I am surprising. I found something I think you might like." she told me with excitement in her voice.
"Oh and what might that be? Is it something sexy for our trip or do I get to see it now?" I asked her.
"You'll have to wait and see. What is Nessie doing?" she asked
"Her, Jake, and Seth are down at the rez playing with the other kids." I told her.
"Ok, well I better get off of here. Alice is tapping her foot at me to get in the store and try on a little blue dress. I love you, Edward. See you hopefully in an hour or so."
"I love you too, Bella. Have fun the rest of your shopping trip and I'll see you when you get home."
We hung up and I went back to playing Rock band with the guys.
