We had just made it to our train car when Alice's phone rang. "Hello." I heard her say from behind me. "Yes Billy. Hold on for one second and I will get him." she told my dad. "Jake, your dad is on the phone. Do you want to talk to him?" She asked me.
"Not at the moment. I'm taking Nessie to Bella and Edward's cabin so I can lay her down. Will you see what he wants?
"I sure will." And she went back to her phone. "jake's busy right now. He has Nessie and she's sleeping. So he wanted me to ask what you needed." "Sure I'll let him know. Ok Billy we will. You stay safe too. Bye." And with that Alice hung up her phone. "Jake he just wanted to let you know that he just picked up your truck."
"Ok, thank you Alice."
"You're welcome Dog."
I gave Alice the death stare for that.
"Just joking Jake. Geeze clam down."
I turned back towards the hallway to take a still sleeping Nessie to her parents' cabin. Edward was already in there and had her bed folded down for me. I laid Nessie down, covered her up, and went back out to join the others in the sitting area. In the time it took me to lay Nessie down the guys already had all the luggage put away in the two dressing rooms.
"Is Nessie still sleeping?" Bella asked me when she noticed I was back out in the sitting area.
"Yep. I just laid her down."
"Not for too much longer though will she sleep. She will wake up when the train starts moving." Alice told us.
As soon as Alice said that the train started moving and Nessie woke up calling for me. So I excused myself and went to go get her.
