My Ever After: A Bella and Edward Story

Part 10 (EPOV)

'Thanks Alice' I text back to her. I'm glad she's not mad.

"Slow down everyone I hear people in front of us." I said to my family before they got to far ahead of me.

"Humans?" Carlisle asked.

"Yes. Sounds like there's five of them. Emmett keep Jasper by you and Rosalie. Carlisle can you and Esme come walk by Bella and I?"

"Sure son. But why may I ask?" Carlisle asked me.

"Sounds like one of them is hurt. We should smell their blood soon." And as soon as I said that sure enough we crossed the scent of blood. Wow was it strong. The one that is hurt must be hurt bad. I tightened my hold on Bella's hand.

"Edward for the blood smell that strong the person must be hurt really bad. Esme you come with me. the rest of you head the other way. Take Bella and Jasper around it."

"Carlisle it sounds like a shooting, a drug deal gone bad. I think it's safer if we all go around it."

My phone beeped a text from Alice. 'Edward, trap ahead. Not ppl it's vamps. The blood u smell is from ppl they killed. Get out of there. Alice'

"Alice said it's a trap. Some vampires killed a couple of people and are using their blood to lure us. She said we need to get out of here and fast." I told my family.

"Who do you think it is son?" Esme asked me.

"I have no idea. I've never heard their voiced before. They sound like they are New Vampires. Only a few days old."

"But there are no other vampires are this area but us. We took care of all the other's before winter hit. Ask Alice if she knows who they are." Carlisle told me.

'Alice do u know who these vamps r? And why they r tryin 2 trap us? And how they know we would b coming this way?  Edward'

"I sent her a text. I'm trying ti figure out who it could be and how they knew we was coming this way on this day at this time."

"I'm just as lost as you are." Carlisle said. "But we better get out of here before they figure out we are here and that they are there."

"I agree." Esme said and everyone else agreed with her.

'Edward it's Nahuel. He created new vamps so he can take Nessie from us. His sis works on the train we're abt  2 get on. It looks like he only wants 2 talk but I can't really see. He makes my visions fuzzy & he keeps changing his mind abt what he's going 2 do. Alice'

"Alice says it's Nahuel. He's the one who created the new vampires. Alice said he created them to take Nessie from us. But right now it just looks like he wants to talk. She's not curtained though because he makes her visions fuzzy and he keeps changing his mind."

"If that man thinks he can take my daughter from me he has another thing coming to him. I will never let him or anyone else have her for the matter." Bella yelled out.

"Don't worry love we will never let anything happened to her. Now come on and lets get out of here." I told her.

"Yes Edward. Let's get out of here." Bella said.

We headed in the other direction away from Nahuel and his new vampire friends.

"Go that way." I pointed to the south of where we was standing. "It'll take us closer to the highway and we're still be out of sight of the cars. He won't follow us."

We headed south towards the highway and started running again. It won't be long before we get to Seattle. The way my family runs it should only take us fifteen minutes to get to the train station. We should beat Alice and them there.
