Jade's

Days went by so fast that i couldn't even believe we are on this very special day, a day to start our for keeps.

I am on my way to the Midtown Loft And Terrace in Manhattan, New York City, with sally. My heart is racing right now, i am so nervous that i could even feel my blood running through my veins.

Althea was just so hands-on in everything, she got it all prepared and the only thing i did was to choose a wedding dress from the pictures she showed me. I kinda miss her though. The last time i saw her was 4 days ago, she went here in US along with miggy, batchi and wila. And i just got here yesterday with my family. Too sad ama couldn't come she was just too old for a long flight and as much as i wanted her to witness me get married to my great love, i couldn't risk her health. They've insisted that me and althea should miss each other. Kaya nauna siya, at madami pa din daw siya kailangan ayusin.

"We're here! This is it bestfriend!" Sally bursted out in excitement as we got into the front of the event place.

I then got ready and i heard the music starts to play, the entourage started to walk, and then sally was the last one before me. Eveything was white, with the touches of red and pink. Our favorite colors.

I then started to walk, mom and dada escorting me, "The Gift" was playing in instrumental, and then i saw her. Tears started to fell from my eyes, i just couldn't stop it because the flashbacks started, right from the start, when i first saw her, up to this very moment. Its like i was watching a movie with a beautiful ending. She was so stunningly beautiful, like a goddess. Our dresses was almost identical, she was waiting for me, with that killer smile. I fell inlove all over again. I then saw a crystal tear fell from her dazzling eyes. She was standing still, with batchi in her maroon tuxedo.

Mama hugged her and dada hand me over to her, and she held my cold hand. i smiled, "are you ready?" She said, "more than ready." I said and she giggled.

"Good day everyone, it is my privilage to officiate this ceremony, we are all gathered here to share in althea, and jade's joy, in this wonderful moment of their lives. By your presence, you celebrate with them the love they had, and you support their decision to commit themselves to one another for the rest of their lives. If there would be more wonderful than being loved, it would be loving. God does not make a love that is wrong. This is the union of two individuals in heart, body, mind, and spirit. And it is into this union that Althea, and Jade, come now to be joined."

"Althea,you have chosen Jade to be your life partner. Will you love and respect her? Will you be honest with her always? Will you stand by her through whatever may come?"

I turned to althea to see her answer, "i will." She said. And

"Jade, you have chosen Althea to be your life partner. Will you love and respect her? Will you be honest with her always? Will you stand by her through whatever may come?"

I lagged for a moment and just frozed looking at althea, but then i heard tha official "ehem."

"I will." I finally said, and smiled, althea then giggled. I was just too speechless of how beautiful this woman beside me.

"Okay, And do you both promise to make the necessary adjustments in your personal lives in order that you may live in a harmonious relationship together?"

"We do." We said, confidently.

"Althea and Jade, now we come to your vows. May I remind you that saying your vows are one thing but nothing is more challenging than living them day-by-day. What you promise today must be renewed tomorrow and each day that stretches out before you. Will you now please turn and face each other and hold hands, looking at each other."
