I'm a Christian and certain members of my family talk about how wanting to be with someone of the same sex is an abomination and how the media is a part of this "gay agenda". Which, if they want to be willingly homophobic then go ahead but I disagree. I mean you don't need an agenda to turn everyone gay because people are born like that....I'm just saying.
But please do not expect every single person to follow the word of God because they don't have to. Saying "Well that's against God/that's a sin" as a way to look down on people is terrible and disgusting. You're using your faith to basically attack people and dehumanize them, maybe so you'll feel even better about following every single word in the bible.
I love Jesus but I'm not going to use him as an excuse for me hating a group of people, that's wrong on so many levels. Please grow up and face the fact that people are out and proud with who they are. Meanwhile, straight boys are still so insecure about their masculinity that they have to say "no homo" after doing anything.
Also, since we're talking about dehumanizing people who are LGTBQ, gay men aren't accessories. I'm going to need for straight women to stop targeting gay men as accessories and needing a classic "gay best friend". A girl actually told me she wanted a gay best friend because she wanted boy advice, a fashion advisor, someone to gossip with, etc. They aren't here for your fucking possession or serving and satisfying your "gay best friend" needs. Get a fucking life bitch.
