Unexpected Arrival ;

Chapter 5;

I walked up to the scene and immediately started to panic. Please don't let this be my baby daddy. There was blood everywhere ,. As I tried to go into the park , a cop stopped me by pushing me back.

"Excuse me ma'am you can't go in there."

"I have to that might be my boyfriend!"

"Ma'am calm down , the most I can do is tell you who it is when we find out"

"There ain't nothing else you can do ?! That will take forever ! I don't have forever,"

"We'll here is the sketch our artist just drew.. Hope it helps,"

I was shaking as I opened the piece of paper. Damn man,. My mouth dropped to the ground. My heart rate increased by the second. I cannot believe it. No it's not Diggy but it's still breaking my heart. It was Marqus. I have to call Shelly ! Tears started rolling down my face at the thoughts running through my mind. I gave the officer the sketch back.

"Thanks for showing me the sketch," I said as even more tears rolled down my face

"Do you know who this is?"

"Yes, his name is Marqus... Marqus Terrell Williams" -Williams is just a common last name-

"Thanks so much for helping us identify him, btw you can see him at Temple University Hospital "

"No problem and thanks" I said running back to the car. Dai was already standing there waiting for me,

"What happened? Who was it?" She said wiping my tears

"It was marqus!"

"Omfg, we have to call Shelly"

"I am , lets get in the car first"

Phone Convo-

"Heeey Shernise!!" She said all happy like,

"Shelly, I have something to tell you." I said tryna hold back my tears but still sounding sad

"Omfg Shernise you're scaring me , what happened?" Shelly said confused and worried

"Marqus , he has been.." I said starting to cry

"What about Marqus ?! Shernise !"

"Marqus has been shot at the park !!! Meet me at Temple"

"Oh my God !" She said as I heard her fall to the floor crying. After about five minute of listening to each other cry, she spoke finally "I'm on my way!" She said before hanging up. We started to drive to the hospital , and all I could say was "I Pray To GOD, Marqus is okay, "
