Chapter 8 ;

Shernise POV-

I went downstairs after I heard the cops outside. When I got downstairs they were in my house! I was so scared, they saw me and immediately started asking questions . Time to play dumb ...

"Ma'am . Can we ask you a few questions ?"

"Uh sure ,"

"Okay , what happened here ,?" The cop said pulling out his notepad

"We'll , this guy who had all black on did this to my house . He grabbed me by surprise asking for a boy .. No boys live here except my friends dad. But the boy who did this could have been older than me, 17, and then he ran out cause he heard someone coming , it was someone who I never seen before but he came for my bestfriend . Then he threatened to call the cops and then the person who grabbed me ran out the house and then I heard gun shots ." I said taking a deep breath.

" Did you get a glimpse of who grabbed you ? Like what he was wearing? "

"I was in total shock so I didn't get a good glimpse of anyone. But I know for a fact the boy who grabbed me had a tattoo of the name "Jessica" on his hand. "

"Sounds like the guy outside who has been shot . Do you know who could have done this ? "

"No , nobody I know would shoot anyone" I said nervously starting to shake.

"Okay , we'll pay for the damage in your home , but we'll be back for investigation."

"Okay , thank you sir" I said letting him out.

I let out a huge sigh , hoping I could get out of this , I don't like being questioned , it makes me nervous . Also I start to shake. I don't like the feeling. But I wonder where Diggy went . So I decided to call him but it went straight to voicemail .. So I called a couple more times before finally giving up. I just hope he's okay. I was under a lot of stress right now and my baby doesn't need stress, so I went to take a shower to let my thoughts wonder off somewhere. I took a 30 minute shower . "Jermaine , what you talking about revenge ? What did I do to you ?"

"For one you took my girl . And two , you just killed my boy snoop . So therefore I need revenge"

"I didn't tell Shernise to break up with you. That was her choice. Not mine."I said when he punched me in my stomach. Then him and his boys jumped me. Then ran off . Because they heard cop sirens. Shernise was calling me but I ain't have strength to answer. So I sat there for a minute. When I finally got the strength I called her back , but no answer. I hope it wasn't nothing important. But just in case I headed back to her house.

Shernise POV -

It was a .. Face? Why was a face coming from the closet? I stood there for a minute not making eye contact with the "person" then I turned back and they jumped out at me.

"You're coming with me now bitch" he said dragging me down the stairs.

"What did I do? Please stop , I'm pregnant !" I said starting to get mad and cry. I'm about to do whatever I have to do to protect my unborn child.

"Shut the fuck up. " the person said still dragging me . I started to push my weight down so he had to struggle a bit.

"Wtf ? You getting heavy" he said breathing hard

"Umm thanks " I said doing a flip to get up and hitting him in the face . He covered his eyes in pain and fell to the floor.

I'm almost at her door. I was limping with pain rushing through my body . I couldn't believe this. I got to the door and something made me rush in the house. I opened the door to see Shernise with a mad expression looking at someone on the floor . That face was so .. Sexy. I never seen her like this before. She looked up at me with that facial expression and it turned me all the way on. But I had to snap out of it. Damn !
