Unexpected Arrival ;

Chapter 6 ;

When we reached the hospital, Dai had to go, but Shelly was sitting there waiting for me. She was sobbing into a teddy bear Marqus gave her a couple of days ago. I ran up to her and hugged her so tight. She cried ever harder. I let her get it all out. Then when she calmed down a little, I started to speak.

“Did you see him yet?”

“No, I didn’t want to go in alone.” She said wiping tears from her eyes.

“Okay, c’mon.”

We walked to the front desk. The lady then asked who we’re we there to see.

“Marqus Williams” I said as she started typing into the computer.

“Okay he’s in room… Room 906 on the 2 floor.”

“Okay thanks, c’mon Shelly”

We walked to the elevator and pressed the number 2. The elevator reached the second floor, and then Shelly stopped in her tracks.

“What’s wrong?”

“I’m Scared to go. What if I cry too much? What if he’s not okay?” she says as she started pacing back and forth.

“Calm down, he’s going to be okay, just pray. You’re coming to see him, it’ll make his day. Trust me.” She sighed

“Okay I guess I’ll come. God please let my baby be okay...”

We walked to the middle of the hall where we found Room number 906.

I slowly opened the door, with Shelly waiting outside. She wanted me to go first.

“Hey Shernise,”Marqus said noticing me walking in

“Hey Marqus! How you feeling?”

“Good, my leg just hurts. But I’m still thuggin shawty!”He said laughing.

“Lmao, you’re such a creep. But I’m glad you’re okay. But I have a surprise for you…”

“What is it?”

“It’s a who.”

“Okay Who Is It? I Hope it’s not who I think.”

“Brb”I said going into the hallway to get Shelly. She was holding her teddy bear close and sitting on the floor.

“C’mon Shell. He wants to see you.”

She got up without saying anything. She walked in the room behind me, making sure I covered her.

“Who’s that” he said tryna see. I slowly moved out the way for Marqus to see her. He sighed

“ I didn’t want her to see me.”

“What Do You Mean Nigga?!” I said starting to get mad

“Just get her out of here Shernise” I looked at this nigga sideways.

“NIGGA NO, SHE CAM TO SEE YOU”I tried not to yell but he made me

“NO, Shernise it’s cool. I’ll leave. I don’t know what this is about but I’m gone.” she said getting teary eyed.

“oh you sun of a bitch!” I said running after her. The elevator doors were closing when I go there so I ran down the steps. I caught her as she was leaving out the door.

"Shelly, where are you going?"

"To my grandmas house where im actually wanted.."

and with that she walked away. there wa nothing else to sya or do. im gonna let her calm down and think a bit before I say anything to her. but as soon as Marqus gets better... that ass  is mine !
