Sanuel's P.O.V

"I will burn for this."

"You would be a marvelous fire," I hear Aaron tease as he presses his lips against my ear down to my neck. My body moves away from him,but he only scoots closer to me.

"Your God does not seem much of a God if he does not approve of love as it is." He goes on and kisses my collarbone making me sigh out.

"Do not take advantage of this."

"Sanuel, in what ways would I be able to? All I ask for you to do is listen to reason."

"This. This! Isn't reason. And, yet, here I am. Sharing my bed and body with you."

He scoffs which only makes my eyes narrow.

"My plans will go as they were. So, if you slept with me for-"

His lips press onto mine pushing my back onto the bed. I feel his entire body move against mine causing past feelings to resurface once again. No matter how much I try to suppress it, I am weak for him and I desire him greatly. He must know this.

A sigh escapes my lips as he moves his away from mine.

"For years, a decade, I resisted these feelings of mine. This month...this year you had grown far to beautiful to resist and I had to have you no matter the choices you would make."

"A decade... Do not tell me..."

"You are my mate."

"I am ruined."

Aaron lets out a laugh as he hugs me. "Let us be ruined together then."

I laugh while he smiles against my cheek. How long have I been feeling this way about this man...? I cannot remember. The moment we met I knew him and I were meant to be more. My heart is so full it is ready to burst at the very sight of him.

"Aaron...truly..."

"He is my brother."

"It is not as if I knew he would be mated to that Alpha."

"I know... But that should change some things." His voice reverberates through my skin causing me to shudder. God, I am smitten with him.

"Aaron, you are asking much of me."

"Did you not ask a lot from me last night?" he whispers in my ear. My face goes red making him laugh again.

"Go."

"Go?"

"As in out. Get out."

"Before any of my attendants comes. It smells of you in here," I finish.

"Very well." He kisses my cheek. "Give what I said a lot of thought." His nose goes down my neck before planting another long kiss there. "I will wait for your answer."

"Aaron," I try to sound domineering, but it comes out more as a whine than anything else. How can he make me decide like this, this way? It is unfair.

He grabs his clothes and is quick to put them on not bothering to give me another look. My eyes fall as I realize how this may be making him feel. This love is bound to end in death.

I rake my fingers through my hair before sighing out loud this time.

"What am I to do...?" He really thinks much of me. He knows who I am and what I have been doing. Why should a brother he hasn't seen in over a decade matter so much?

Another sigh leaves me as I rise and head toward the bathroom. Soon, I start the shower and let the hot water take away all the aches coming from my lower back and upper thighs.
