Meet Up

We reached school. I stepped out of the car and waved a goodbye to Audrey who was sitting in the car smiling at me.

Griffin Prep High School.

This school is popular for having the best basket ball team ever. Every year there is a basket ball match between different schools, and no doubt Griffin Prep always wins.

While I was in my thoughts, someone hugged me from back. I turned around and saw Jennifer Rose.

" Jenna !" I exclaimed.

" Amelia !" She squealed.

Jenna is my BFFA (Best Friend Forever After). We've been friends since sixth grade. She's a total fashionista, unlike me.

" Where were you? Why didn't you reply to my message? " She asked crossing her arms.

" Really? You messaged me?" I asked grabbing my phone out of my pocket.

I see a message and realize that my mobile was silent.

" Oh! I see." I said grinning like an idiot.

We walk in and see our other friends standing beside our lockers. Ellie, Crystal, Layla, Liz and Adair.

Ellie, Layla and Liz were with me since third grade.

We were having a nice time, and the bell rang. We headed towards our classes. I had English class with Jenna and Adair . We three were always together in English, Math and Chemistry. Arts was my favorite class because we all seven friends were together.

The three of us walked into the class and took our seats. Jenna and I are not allowed to sit together in English class, because we talk a lot and Miss Harper, our English teacher is too strict.

So, I took my place next to Adair. Miss Harper came in and started her lecture.

The cafeteria was crowded as it was lunch break. I ran to the table where my friends were sitting. I sat next to Layla.

" Layla, Miss Harper wants to see you." I said.

" Me? But why?" She asked raising her eyebrow.

" I don't know. She just told me to inform you."

" Oh okay!... Where is she?"

" I guess in the class."

Layla got up and left.

" When did Miss Harper wanted to see her?" Jenna asked.

" Oh! It's nothing like that...I just wanted to kick her out of the conversation."

" Why?"

" It's her birthday next month and we are supposed to plan."

" Oh! I almost forgot." Ellie said.

We were just about to discuss what to do for the birthday party, I got interrupted by Principle Everdeen from the speaker in the cafeteria.

" Dear students, welcome back. As we all know, every year we have a Basketball Match with other schools. This year we are competing with Eastwood High for the first time. We are very excited about this and are looking forward to a great match. The match is next week, Thursday 7 pm. If you have any questions please proceed to Vice Principle Roxanne. Thank you."

Everyone started hooting with excitement.

Liz was even more excited as she was a very athletic person.

" I'm so excited... I can't wait!" She squealed.

We all started laughing and she had a large grin on her face.

" Okay...back to the topic." Crystal said.

" Yeah...as I was saying..."

I was again interrupted by Principle Everdeen.

" Amelia Roberts please report to my office immediately."

" What did I do?"
