A Long Day

Jenna was back in no time and we were all ready with the birthday planning. I am sure Layla would love it and seeing her happy will make me happy. That's what friends do. I wonder why Crystal wasn't here. As far as I know she would never abandon her friends. She is very loyal to her friends. I hope it's nothing regarding that basketball player. I hope she's not doing anything wrong.

The night was tiring and everyone left. I went to bed hoping for a good day tomorrow.

I woke up with a terrible stomach next morning. I knew I shouldn't have eaten all that junk food, but I couldn't help it. Now I have to suffer.

I walked into the school. As I was heading towards my class, I saw Eric.

" Hey, Eric!"  I said walking towards him.

" Hi, Mia!  How are you?"

" I'm good. What about you?"

" I'm fine, but you don't look good. Everything okay?" Eric asked with concern.

" Actually, I'm really tired, it was a long night." I said with a tired tone.

" Oh! I see. Anyways, feel free to ask me for help whenever you need."

" Sure. Thanks!"

" Never mind"

I had Chemistry class and seriously I wouldn't have come to school today, but we only have one day left for all the party arrangements. Actually, two days but tomorrow is the basketball match and we won't have time for other stuff.

I took my seat and the teacher came in. The class was just about to start, when my stomach began to assume itself on the stage and started singing like a whale, actually roaring like a whale since I mentioned the stage perhaps singing is the right term.

Curse you junk food.

Somehow the class ended in forty-five minutes. These forty-five minutes were the worst minutes of my life. I couldn't concentrate and each time my stomach decided to sing I pretended  like I had a cough which was again making my teacher annoyed as I was interrupting her lecture.

The bell rang and I dashed out of the class. It was the lunch break and I can not take the risk of eating anything, not even a piece of a cookie.

I entered the cafeteria which was too crowdy. From the corner of the room, I heard a voice calling me.

"Amelia! over here!"  Crystal shouted waving at me from far.

I made my way towards them and sat next to Liz.

" Hey! Crystal. How are you? and where were you since two days."  I said drinking some water.

" Um...I...Oh! What plannings you did for Layla's birthday?"

" Well, everything's planned we just need to put it on action." Ellie said.

" Yeah... you, Ellie and I will go to the bakery after school to order the cake."Jenna said.

While everyone was discussing I came out of the cafeteria and called Audrey.

" Hey Em! What's up?" Audrey picked up.

" Hi! Are you free?"

" Yeah, everything ok?"

" I have a bad stomach and I wanna go home early."
