Yay! The day has finally come. We're going shopping for Layla's birthday dress.
"Audrey?" I called her out running down the stairs.
To my luck my socks disobeyed me and I tripped down the stairs.
"Ouch!" I cried.
"Em! What's wrong... Hahahaha...God!" Audrey started laughing.
"Stop laughing and help me up." I cried out.
"Hehe! Here, take my hand. You'll never change."
Well, you see clumsiness is in my blood. I'm that one idiot who falls or trips down anywhere, whether it's a mall, a park, any party... I FALL EVERYWHERE !!
A person who wants to hang out with me should know that there is a 99.9 percent chance of that person to get embarrassed because of me. This is the reason why it's hard to convince Audrey to go out with me. Audrey would bear anything, except she getting embarrassed.
"Thanks for discouraging me. I just need you to drop me to the mall as we girlfriends are going for shopping." I said, Audrey.
"You're too late Amelia. I have to go for viola classes today."
"But your classes are on Wednesdays and today's Thursday."
"Sweetheart, I missed my class yesterday because I had to come and pick you from school and today I have a compensatory class. I'm leaving now."
"Audrey you can't do this." I said Audrey while grabbing her wrist.
"I'm sorry Em but I need to go."
"Alright fine but you are going come and pick me up."
"Okay, I'll pick you up, just call me." She said kissing my forehead and left.
Well, now I have no other choice but to ask Eric if he'll drop me. I grabbed my coat and walked out of the house locking it. Eric's house was nearby just two houses ahead from mine.
I walked down the path to Eric's house. It was a bit windy. I reached Eric's house and rang the bell. Eric answered the door.
"Hey, Mia! What brought you here?" Eric asked smiling.
"Hi! Remember the day you asked me if I need any help?" I asked sheepishly.
"Yes?" He asked confused.
"Well, today is your day." I said grinning.
"Okay, how may I help you?"
"Actually, I and my friends planned to go shopping but my sister's not home and I have nobody to drop me to the mall."
"Oh! I see. So?"
"Can you please drop me?"
"Sure. I'll just get ready."
"Yay! Thank you!" I squealed which made him cover his ears with annoyance.
"Hey don't do that." He said.
"Okay. Go hurry up." I pushed him in.
After a few minutes, Eric came out with his car keys. His White Camaro was parked in the garage. He took his car out and I took my seat in.
We reached the mall in no time and found everyone waiting for me. I got out of the car and waved a goodbye to Eric. I walked towards my friends.
"Hey, guys!" I said pretending everything's fine and I'm not late.
