Birthday Planning

I reached home and headed towards my bathroom as I was in a serious need of a shower. While I was taking a bath the only thing I kept on thinking about was Crystal.

Alright, I know that I am being too concerned about her, but the thing is that Crystal comes from a family who won't even let her go out alone. Her mother only trusts Ellie because she and Crystal are real best friends and Ellie met her mom more than ten times.

The odd thing is that I saw Crystal speaking to a guy for the first time.

I finished taking a shower walked out of the bathroom.

I do realize that my friends are coming over, but I want to be comfortable so I decided to wear sweatpants and a tank top.

By the time I got dressed it was 3:00 and Jenna would be here in half an hour and I had to clean my room.

I started cleaning my room and it took me fifteen minutes. I decided to order some pizza as me and Jenna are pizza lovers, well who isn't?

I dialed a number and waited for someone to pick up.

A lady picked up and I started ordering, as soon as I finished, I heard the doorbell ring. I went to open the door and it was Jenna.

" Hey! You're early."  I said hugging her.

" Yeah! I was getting bored." Jenna said getting in.

" Well I ordered pizza it will be here by twenty minutes."

" That's awesome!"

" By the way, why did you want me to come early?"

" Yeah...about that, first you have a seat." I said getting a glass of water for her.

" It's about Crystal." I said sitting on the couch and handing Jenna her glass of water.

" Today at school when I went to say Eric 'thank you' at the basketball court, I saw Crystal with some guy. As far as how much I know that guy is from our basketball team, I could'nt hear what they were speaking, but I feel it's too odd."

While I was talking to Jenna I got a call from my mother.

" Hello! Em?" My mom said with assurance.

" Hello! Mom...how are you?"

" I'm good...how are you? You came back from school? Did you have your lunch?"

That's the thing about mothers, no matter how far they are they want to know every detail about there children.

" I'm perfect and yes I'm back from school and I did not have my lunch because Jenna's here, so I ordered pizza and now we are waiting for it to arrive.

" Okay...is Alison there?"

" No, she's in the park with Audrey and Isabelle. How's Dad?"

" Oh! He's fine."

" How's your trip?"

" It's good...everything is fine."

" When will you be back?"

" End of this week."

" I miss you."

" I miss you too, sweetheart."

" I love you, mom."

" I love you too, dear."

We hung up.

" How's Isabelle?" Jenna asked.

" Oh! She's fine. I met her last week."

Isabelle Davis is Audrey's best friend. She is a very loving person. I remember the time, when I was ten. I met her for the first time in the school's lobby. There was a competition, where the higher grades had to decorate the bulletin board. There were four boards out of them I found one really attractive that was decorated by Isabelle. I went and stood in front of the board admiring it and Isabelle was beside me.

" What are you staring at?" Isabelle asked.

" The board...it's beautiful!"

" Oh! Thank you."

I went and hugged her and said that 'I like you'. She smiled at me and said that she likes me too.

This was one of the happiest moments in my life. I always admired her beauty. Since that day till now Isabelle is like a sister to me, she knows everything about me and so do I.

While I was lost in my thoughts I felt someone hug me from back.

" Hey! Amelia." Adair said hugging me.

" Hi...when did you come?"

" Just now." Ellie said.

" Aha!...get yourself home. I will get some snacks and we'll get to work." I went to the kitchen to get some snacks and Ellie came to get some water.

" Did you inform Crystal about this?" I asked her.

" Yeah I did but she said she can't."

" Oh! but why?"

" I don't know."

" Okay, let's go."

We sat on the ground and started discussing about the birthday party.

" Where is the party?" Liz asked.

" My place. Jenna, Ellie and Crystal will go to the bakery after school and order a cake. I, Audrey, Alison and Isabelle will do all the decorations."

" Are you sure?" Adair asked.

" Of course, they have to do it."

" What about the invitations?" Jenna asked.

''Liz and Adair will do it."

" Amelia, can you get some cold drinks?''  Liz asked.

" Sure."

I went to the kitchen to get some drinks. Unfortunately, there were no drinks.

" Jenna?" I called her out from the kitchen.

" Coming ." She said.

" Can you please go to the department store and get some drinks."

" You dont have any?"

" Nope, it got over last week."

" Fine...I'll go."

" Thank you so much!" I said kissing her cheek and she left.
