The next morning Wallace looked tired, probably from me screaming and waking him up. He offered me a cup of coffee when I walked into his small kitchen.
"Next time you decide to have a nightmare please don't make it on a day where I have to be up early." He growled. But I knew he did not mean it the way it came out.
"I will try, but you know I have no clue when I will have a nightmare, next time I will tell it to please leave me alone since I am sleeping at your house."
"You're such an asshole sometimes!" He took a sip of his favorite green tea. "You want to talk about it?"
I can not understand that dream myself, how am I supposed to explain this to him? All I know is that I might die if I choose to fight and if I choose not to the region will suffer.
I shrugged "If I knew what it meant I would tell you, but as of now I think it is nothing." I tried to shake it off and smile.
Wallace's eyes glistened, showing me that he is trying to read me like he usually does. "You're hiding something and I don't know what yet, but I'll find out."
I leaned over the small table and glared at Wallace. "Do not push your luck with me Wallace. do not make me remind you who works for whom."
He laughed. "And I know that you're joking and trying to make me forget what I'm talking about, now what are you hiding Mr. Stone?"
I grabbed his hands "That I am madly in love with you."
He pulled his hand away. "You asshole! Gah! What is wrong with you Steven!"
"What? The rocks never talk to me like this! You treat me worse than they do?" I crossed my hands over my chest. "That is it! I am going back to my cave!"
Wallace whined. "That's it." He shot up and forced me from my chair. "Go do something productive, you insane freak!"
"Fiiiiiine!" I grumbled as I put my jacket and cape back on. "If you need me I am going back to the league. I will have my pokenav on and if it means I get out of work then I will probably answer."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, just go bother someone else!"
"You know what I will!" I slammed the door dramatically as I left.
Even thought I hate the boat ride over to Sootopolis is annoying as hell, the island itself is beautiful. Especially in the mornings, the bright sun glistening off the lake surrounding the gym, the Magikarp and the one or two Gyrarados swimming around freely. More than the annoying voyage to this volcano I would spend more time here.
I unclipped Skarmory's pokeball from my belt as my pokenav started going off. I clicked the button "Yes?"
"Hey Steven!" My Dad's loud voice echoed. "Where are you? I have something I'd like you to talk to about."
I sighed, not loud enough for my father to hear. "I am out in Sootopolis but I can be in Rustboro in about two hours."
"Don't worry, it's something worth your wild. Now please get over here, it's important!" He hung up.
Whatever the hell he wants to tell me it must be urgent for him to hang up like that.
"Skarmory come on!" The silver bird shook his body and stretched his wings. Yellow eyes glistened excitedly. "To Rustboro we go! And apparently it is important so shake your feathers and lets roll!"
******
"It's important, those idiots are up to something and I have no clue what." My father paced back and forth through his office. I sat in one of the two chairs in front of his desk, legs crossed.
