Magcon Vs. Maze (Complete)

Chapter 6

            A few days later the girl woke up from her coma. But was really frightened. You noticed she warmed right up to Matt and started to get jealous. But there was no time for that. You are in this Maze you say to yourself, you have to find a way out of here with her or not. A few days went by the normal stuff, running in the maze with Matt and Hayes, come back have lunch, go out again, come back have dinner, sleep. The girl finally remembered her name after about three days like Hayes, her name was Mahogany. You noticed that she had stepped off of Matt and spent more time with Jacob. She even started working with him. She was a hard working and sweet girl. But this wasn't the time to be sweet. You just ignored her like have been doing and worked to help the Glade. Run the Maze, Lunch, Run the Maze, Dinner, Sleep. Until one day changed everything the maze stood for.

You were waiting for Matt with Hayes at the East door of the Maze ready to start the day. You heard that Matt went to check the South door to see if it was rusted up yet. The South door was through the forest at the edge of the Glade. You have been waiting for at least 35 minutes until you heard a scream it was Matthew's you started to run with all the others through the forest. You saw Matt on the ground backing up as quickly as he could with Carter running down the hill. Carter looked just as crazy as Nash did the other day. Carter jumped on Matt. "I saw what you did! I saw what you did!" He kept screaming over and over spitting on Matt. All you could see was the fear in Matt's eyes. "What are you talking about? Carter! Get off of me.... Please get off of me..." He cries tears rolling down his cheeks. "I'm going to kill you! I'm going to kill you!" Carter yells standing up with a knife in his hand. Cameron threw a spear at Carter's leg hitting him in the joint. Carter cried out in pain falling to the ground. "Get him into the cell!" Cameron yelled. Gilinsky tied Carters arms and legs together and him and Johnson carried him to the cells, locking him in. "Meeting in the Hall!" Yelled Cameron. You kneeled down beside Matt who was still crying. "C'mon ya shuck. Get up!" You say helping him up. You kissed him and lead him to the meeting in the hall.

"We need to decide what we need to do with Carter." Cameron says and that when all the outbursts came out. "He wanted to kill Matt!" "That shuck was insane!" "He deserves to be killed!" "Matthew was about to die!" "Everyone slim it!" Cameron yelled. "I know what we are going to do, all I need you to do is vote yes or vote no." Cameron continued. "He should be banished from the Glade." Cameron says. Everyone said yes, including you. After the meeting was adjourned everyone went back to work. Except The runners, Matt was too frightened and You and Hayes were just trainees. Matt lied in his hammock shaking. Hayes tried to pull moves on you but you were not the type of person to be easy like that. Later that night you wondered about what banishment was. Until you drifted slowly to sleep.

You were 9 years old, lying in bed. You looked across from you and saw Jack. 'What happened to daddy?' He asked. 'I don't know Jack.' You answer. 'Did he get the flare like mommy?' He asks. 'I don't know Jack.' You say once again. "The Johnson twins?" A guard asks. You get up and so does Jack. You walk down a long dark corridor and into a small room. You and Jack sit down opposite of the guard. "Do you know what is happening here kids?" He asks. "No sir." You say in unison. "You're parents got the flare, we did what we had to do." He said. He grabbed a remote and turned on a small television in the corner of the room. It was your parents. Your mom was crying and your dad was trying to stay calm. You heard a switch go on and green mist filled the room. Your mom and dad started to bang on the glass but no one stopped it. You looked away and so did Jack. "We couldn't help them they were too far along in the Changing." The guard says. "You could've saved them! You could've sent them to the Scorch!" You scream getting up out of the chair. "Send them to their rooms, these ones are going to the Maze!" The guard says to another one that walked in. "No! No!" You hear Jack scream. "No! No! No! No!" His voice echoes in your head.

You wake up crying. Jack comes and hugs you, comforting you. "It's okay y/n. It's over." He whispers. "It's over." He repeats. You cry your eyes out. Until you finally sat in the darkness not wanting to go to sleep, not wanting to see your mom's crying face again.
