"Nash!" You hear Hayes scream falling to the ground in sobs. You run to Hayes comforting him. You hear Nash scream one last time. "Nash..." Hayes sobs. "Hayes it's okay I'm here." You say. He sobs into your shoulder. Luckily no more Gladers died that night. You all sat in silence at the campfire after the attack by the grievers. Hayes was still crying, lying in his hammock. As you sat at the campfire everyone eventually started talking again. Matt put his arm around you as you sat there in silence, whenever you blinked you would see Nash's terrified face as he was getting thrown into the air. "Matt, I loved a girl as much as you love y/n once. Before all of this happened. I met this beautiful girl with striking green eyes. Her name was Stella. God, I loved her so much." Cameron said looking into the flames of the fire. "What happened?" Matt says. Cameron wipes away a tear, "I'd rather not talk about it." Cameron says looking away. "Well, goodnight guys." He says getting up and heading to the sleeping area. "Same here you say." Getting up and following Cam. You sat down in your hammock and it took you longer to fall asleep but you finally fell asleep. You dreamed about what Cameron actually looked like when he was happy, next to his girlfriend, in a happy home.

The next morning everyone was gathered in a small circle in the middle of the Glade. "What's wrong?" You say. Until you saw what they were staring at. A big syringe with a purplish liquid in the compartment. "That's the Flare virus." Gilinsky said. "I need to know what I did to Carter." Matt says. "Hayes this gives you back some of you memories right?" Matt asks Hayes. "Yeah why?" Hayes says confused. Then Matt picked up the syringe. "Matt, don't do it." Cameron warns. "Matt don't touch that." You say. "I need to find out what I did!" Matt yells plunging the syringe into his thigh. "Matt!" You scream. "Get the antidote!" Cameron yells, Aaron then runs to the supply closet getting the antidote. "Gilinsky help me get him to the Infirmary!" Cameron says to Gilinsky as he picks up Matt.
