The next morning you get your breakfast and sit next to Jack. "Good morning." He says. "To you too." You answer. "That dream really shook you up huh?" He asks. "I guess so." You answer shyly. "What dream?" Carter says dropping his plate on the table and shifting in beside you. "Was it about me?" He asks a smirk comes across his face. "Far from it ya shuck now get lost." Says Jack rudely. "Wow!" Carter exclaims, "Hey y/n should I tell Matt about your new boyfriend?" Carter asks. "My boyfriend huh? Something is shucked up in that brain of yours because we are siblings!" You say. "So slim it and get lost." You finish. "Woah y/n I didn't know you had that in you." Jack says once Carter picks up and leaves. "Hey! Y/n you are going to be late on the first day!" Yelled Matt from the entrance of the Maze. You finished your breakfast and said goodbye to Johnson before running toward Matthew and Hayes waiting for you at the East door. "You sure you can handle this y/n?" Asked Hayes. "I can handle anything!" You say. "Anything?" Asked Hayes. "Anything ya shuck!" You exclaim. "Oh okay." He says winking at you. You see Matt out of the corner of your eye he is death staring Hayes. "Okay! Let's go!" Matt says to break the awkward tension. You start jogging around corners as Matt handled the Map. "As you see y/n there are 7 different sections one for everyday of the week. We have started mapping the way the Maze works so we could eventually find a way out!" Matt says. "Today is Tuesday so that means sector 2 will be open." Hayes says stating the obvious. "You two stay here I will check out sector 3." Says Matt disappearing around the corner. You were left all alone with Hayes. "So are you and Matt a thing now?" He asks. "I could barely say that." You laugh. "Good." He answers. "What?" You ask as he starts getting in closer to you. "I haven't seen a girl in 6 months y/n." Hayes says seductively as he gets closer pushing you up against the hard concrete wall. "Hayes stop." You say loudly. "Just let it happen babe." He says into your ear. "Matt!" You yell. As you run away from Hayes Matt runs into you. "What is it y/n?" He asks. "I don't want to be a runner anymore." You say sadly. "Okay just finish this day okay?" He says. "Okay." You answer kissing him on the cheek. You run through the Maze and find sector 2. Matt and Hayes check it out and you stay behind. Once they come back all three of you run back to glade just in time for lunch.

"What's for lunch Shawn?" Matt asks as he sits down at picnic table with healthy Nash, Taylor and Shawn. You sit with Aaron, Johnson, Gilinsky and Cam. "So Nash is looking good again Cameron." You say looking over at Nash. "Seriously y/n, call me Cam." Cameron says smiling that perfect smile. "So are you and Matt a thing?" Gilinsky asks you. "Why do all of you think that? No! I am here trying to survive in this shucked up wasteland! I do not like Matthew!" You say a bit frustrated with all of these accusations. You finish your lunch and walk to the sleeping area. You lie down in your hammock and quickly fall asleep. 'Y/n?' You hear someone calling you in your sleep. 'It's Jack.' He continues. 'Jack?' You say. 'Listen carefully, whenever you hear my voice in your head again, it's not me. They are manipulating you don't let them get in your head...don't let them! Wake up! Wake up y/n!' His scared tone rings in your head. You wake up scared and breathless. "Y/n." Jack says standing over you. "Huh?" You say. He leans down and whispers into your ear. "Remember, don't trust WICKED no matter what. Okay?" "Okay." You say getting up out of the hammock. Just then an alarm sounded, you cover your ears. "That's the box. That's weird you just came up yesterday with the weekly supplies." He says running to the box. You follow him and go to the front where the box is. Cameron opens the shaft and you see another girl in the box knocked out. "Wait!" Johnson says. "There's a note in her sleeve." He continues jumping down into the box. He reads the note out loud and everyone falls into complete silence.

"Aaron!" Cameron says jumping into the box. "What is going on here?" He asks as Aaron jumps into the box with Gilinsky. "She's in a coma, could last a few days, could last a few months." He says. "Gilinsky help me get her to the infirmary." Gilinsky gets her arms and Cameron gets her legs and they carry her to the infirmary.
