"We are making it out of here!" Aaron said hugging everyone. "Don't celebrate too early." You heard a voice say as everyone looked to see a sick looking Taylor. "Taylor! Taylor you are alive." Cameron says. "You left me to die in the Glade! What type of friend does that?" Taylor yelled tears streaming down his face. You got a image of Carter in your head and you blinked it away. "Now Cameron you will have to die!" Taylor says pointing a gun at Cameron's chest. Matt held up a spear. "Taylor.... Taylor don't do it!" You say looking into his eyes. His eyes soften for a moment but quickly the Taylor you knew was gone. He pulled the trigger and Matt threw the spear. "No!" Aaron screamed jumping in the way. Taylor got the spear to the neck killing him instantly. "Aaron!" You cried running to his side. "Aaron. Don't do this. Look at me, look at me Aaron." You whisper holding him. You looked at his stomach and there was blood seeping through his shirt. "Aaron... Please." You say looking at him. "Find my parents, give this to him. Thank you for being my friend y/n. Thank you." He put a ceramic elephant in your hand the last thing he said was barely a whisper. "Aaron you whispered before breaking into sobs. A stray tear stream down Aaron's face. You held him not letting him go. Until a door opened revealing 7 guards. "You are safe kids to the berg follow us!" One yells as another grabs you dragging you away from Aaron's lifeless body as screamed. "NO AARON! AARON! NO!" You screamed crying as they dragged you to the berg. The last thing you saw of Aaron was his eyes staring at you as you got dragged away. As you were in the berg you looked at the elephant and swore you would find his parents. Everyone was silent and Matt put his arm around you comforting you as you tried to wrap your brain around the whole experience. Why did they have to take Aaron? You thought as you drifted to sleep.
