As you walked on the bridge to the tunnel everyone around you looked around in curiosity. You looked forward hoping for the best. You heard a cry come from under you. They are coming from under us. "Matt! Get the note pad from y/n and enter the code quick!" Cam whispers. "Okay." Matt said grabbing the paper from out of your hand and whispering in your ear. "Everything will be okay." He said wiping the tear away from your cheek and running to the tunnel. "Here they come!" Cam yells everyone getting out knives and holding spears that some took from the glade. You braced yourself for the worst and went full throttle trying to save your friends and Matt.

When I heard the grievers cry I panicked and sprinted to the key pad. "Matt! Hurry!" I heard y/n call. My fingers shook as I punched in the numbers I looked back at all of the grievers fighting with my brothers and my girlfriend. I kept punching the numbers in. "HAYES!" Y/n screamed. I turned around and watched Hayes get pinned down by a griever. As the griever was focused on Hayes, y/n grabbed the handle in it's flesh and pulled it out. Aaron pulled Hayes out from under it before it collapsed. It would've crushed him. "Hurry!" Jacob yelled. I finished hitting the rest of the numbers and hit enter. The tunnel door opened and I yelled at everyone to run. Everyone started running and y/n and Cameron were left dragging Hayes. "Y/n run! I got this!" I yelled throwing Hayes over my shoulder and running. The door started closing and we made it in right before it closed. Y/n gasped for air. And for once I felt safe until the screen in front of all of us showed a woman. "Welcome section AB129 you made it past the first of the trials. I congratulate everyone that made it and to show my appreciation for you young adults you will be picked up by a berg and transported to something we like to call a safe haven. Now as you can see I can't stay here after I've provided you with all of this information. So thank you for your co-operation and you will now be picked up by our team of guards." She finished and held a gun up to her head. Y/n put her head in my chest as she pulled trigger.
