Today I decided to go to the library. I used to go often but since I met Calum, I haven't had much time to. I loved sitting by the window and reading. Today was a bit cold so I dressed warmly.

"Hey, where are you going?" Calum climbed inside from the window, he was probably looking at the sunrise again.

"Just the library." He nodded and then asked, "Can I come?" I looked at him confused, "You can leave the house?"
"Only for an hour."

I agreed and we went on our way to the library. We walked in and the heat from the warm building hit me and I immediately felt comfort in the library.

We walked around until I found the mystery section. I scanned all the titles on the old and antic shelves. When a certain book caught my eye, I'd pick it up. By the end I had found two in the mystery genre and one in the art shelves.

I eagerly went to check out the books, giving the librarian my library card and leaving with a smile.

While walking home, Calum talked about how he'd go to the library too. He told me some stories about him getting in trouble with the librarian for being too loud.

We arrived home and walked up to my room, spreading the books and then beginning to read. We enjoyed each other's presence as we read in the comfortable silence. We read for two hours until my stomach began to rumble.

Calum laughed and helped me get up so we could make lunch. I made a sandwich and put some grapes on the side. I finished eating and Calum persuaded me to go to the backyard.

He urged me to lie down next to him and look at the sky. I shivered and pulled the sleeves of my knitted sweater to cover my cold hands.

We laid there for ten minutes until I began shaking, it was fun while it lasted. He brought me inside and sat me down in front of the fire place. He threw some fire wood and lit a match, throwing it inside. We watch the fire come alive and listened to the fire crackle, while wrapped in blankets.

"I had a great day today." I looked at Calum.

"Let me take you on some adventures and you'll have a wonderful time.", He grinned.

"Sounds like a plan."
