The day of the party

I woke up with a huge grin on my face, today was the day of Logan's party and it had been the talk of the week, everyone is going, I sat up, my room was black and white, it had a double bed and a sofa chair in the corner, my room was pretty bare apart from the one poster I have on Linkin Park, my all time favourite band. I got up and stretched my legs, then dragged over to the curtains, opening them fully, the blue light sent shock waves thought my eyes, I closed them instantly and rubbed them a few times before re opening them, it had snowed, there wasn’t much but it had snowed a little in the night, I had a shower then put on some black skinny jeans and a Linkin Park top and ran downstairs, my brother was watching the TV “Alex it snowed” I said excitedly

“Remind me how old you are again” he said blankly

“Oh, someone woke on the wrong side of the bed” I teased placing two pieces of bread in the toaster “Shut up” he said with no emotion, I just stuck my tongue out at the back of his head and ate my toast. Today I was meeting Logan for lunch and to help me find a dress as Ariel was busy, I went into the bathroom and studied myself in the mirror, I seemed to look so much different without my eye liner or mascara i looked almost natural, i had rosy cheeks, and my grey eyes stood out, i never liked my eyes, they seem so different. I quickly applied it the smiled at the reflection that smiled back, the doorbell rang, I ran to it as Alex wasn’t getting up, when I opened the door, it revealed a very happy Logan “Party is tonight” he said cheerfully, he came in and saw my brother slouched over the couch “Hey Alex, how you been?” Logan said wiping the snow off his shoes

“Hey mate, Yeah its been good” he turned back to the TV, I ran upstairs and grabbed my converse and sipped them on, Logan was sitting on a stall in the kitchen “make yourself at home” I laughed getting a jacket on

“I was anyway” he smiled cheekily. I grabbed some money and my bag “ok ready” I said to Logan, he smiled

“Finally!” he smiled walking to the door and opening it for me “Such a gentlemen, Bye Alex” I shouted before leaving the house, Logan shut the door “So where first, I follow you” he smiled

“Well I need a dress, so come on” I laughed at Logan’s face expression, he hated shopping, especially for clothes, I grabbed his hand and dragged him to the bus station and got on the bus to the shopping center. When the bus stopped I pulled Logan off with me “Do we have to get you a dress, you have some many lovely clothes” he wined “Look if you work with me, I will be quick promise” I pulled him into the shopping center, then as I pushed the big glass door to enter the complex, I saw Blake and Ariel staring at us, we walked over to them “I thought you said you were busy” I said a bit angry because she chose Blake over me “Blake wanted to come here, we can all help you with you dress now” Ariel smiled innocently to try and change the subject, I just walked past them and entering a clothes shop, inside I found 3 dresses that I really liked but I didn’t know which one to choose “I see you have a dilemma” Blake voice came from behind me, I turned swiftly facing him “no I don’t, just, yeah I do” I laughed awkwardly

“Well try them on and let me tell you if the look good ok” he smiled., I needed s dress so I went into the changing rooms and but on the first dress; it came down to my mid thigh and was a puffy dress that was pink and had a black ribbon belt, I walked out to see Blake setting on a chair in direct view me, he was turned so I coughed, his head shot round and he gasped “wow, you look amazing” he eyes traced over my hour glass figure, I fidgeted uncomfortably at his gaze, he came back up to face me “This is the winner so far” he laughed, I changed into the second dress, which was emerald green and came to my knee, this was a really tight dress. I walked out and Blake face expression said it all, I got one word “Change” I went back in but before I could the curtains opened revealing my underwear “BLAKE” I shouted

“I like the first one, can we go for lunch or something” he smiled. i had my hands covering my body

"Blake get out" i shouted, my cheeks going red from embarrassment, he grinned

"Nope, not until you say yes" Do i have a choose in this, people behind him started looking over

"OK, OK fine now SHUT THE CURTAIN" he simple smiled and shut it, i got my clothes back on and payed for the pink dress, then found Logan and Ariel sitting outside "Lunch now" i smiled at them, they got up and Ariel came running "Let me see, Let me see" she grabbed the bag from my grasp and took out the dress, i looked at Logan who was smiling approvingly "OH MY GOD ITS AMAZING" Ariel screamed really load, i laughed and put it back in the bag. We had lunch and went ourseparate ways, When i got home it was 3 o'clock, the party starts at 5:30 so i have time to eat and get ready. When i opened the door i found Alex still slouched over the couch, i went over to him and pushed him awake "REALLY" i shouted 

"Hey, whats your problem!" he said rubbing his eyes

"No whats yours" i said angrily, he just got up, went upstairs and slammed his bedroom door, i will have to talk to him later. i had a jacket potato with cheese then went to my room. i put on the dress and added some more make up. i studied myself in the mirror, i had never looked this pretty before, i was amazed. i looked at the time 5:00 o'clock, the doorbell rang, it was Ariel, here we go !
