"Mom...mom ,what's wrong. Are you okay?" Her voice came out in short rasps,like she was struggling to speak. Her breath was wheezing as she tried to gain enough air.

As she coughed some more my face became worry stricken,I didn't know what to do.

"Mom, are you okay?"

"Cough, I- I- I'm

"No you're not." I said softly. "It's okay to feel bad,Mom. You've always taken care of me. Now its my turn.

She coughed some more. Blood escaped from her mouth this time, seeping down her lips and slowing down at her chin. I rushed to her bathroom,grabbed a towel and poured ice-cold water on it. I ran to her and gently dabbed at the bottom of her chin. I felt her forehead.

Boiling hot.

I placed the cold towel on her head. I could practically see the steam emitting from her forehead.

I ran to my room without a second glance at her. I entered my room grabbed the phone off my charger, picked it up,and ran back to her room dialing the ambulance as I ran.

I gave them my house address and explained to them as best I could, in my panicked state, what was wrong.
I knelt next to her bed, and held onto her hand.

"Mom." I said tears falling down my face. "You're gonna be okay. The ambulance is on their way." She smiled weakly. Then,her voice more raspy than before she spoke to me.

"I.love.you....I'm so so sorry."

"Mom,what are you talking about." I said ,becoming more panicked ,my heart beating faster." She closed her eyes. Her body relaxed beneath her, and I saw as her last breath left her lips.

"Yes.Yes.Yessssss!!!!! Nice Kasey,okay, now tilt your hip a little this wa- perfect,perfect. Nice work. You are quite the little dynamite your mom said you would be. May she rest in peace."
I gave him a sad smile. I stepped away from the white background,grabbed a bottle of water and headed to make-up so they could remove this gunk on my face.
I sighed.

Four days

That's all anyone has spoken about since she died four nights ago. I didn't want to work,but this is the last event she had set up for me. I blinked multiple times adjusting my eyes to the constant light,use to the camera's that had finally stopped flashing in my face.

I changed into a black outfit. I had been wearing black all week out of respect for my mother and I planned to continue doing so until the funeral this weekend. That is when her will would be read for family only.

I walked out of the changing room. I said my thank yous and goodbyes to the people hosting the photoshoot. I then took a sip of my water,put on my sunglasses, inhaled sharply, wished myself good luck and exited the building with my entourage of bodyguards who followed me out the door. I was as usual greeted by a large posse of paparazzi as well as fans,the lights were flashing all over the place.
