In a small town, just by the outer bridge crossing in New Jersey, lives a man. This man has his whole life ahead of him but instead of doing what he's dreamed of doing, which is to make a difference in the world, he surrounds himself with drugs, alcohol and knives. A worker from the local liquor store enters his life and turns his world upside down. But, when a lonely boy enters his life, Gerard can finally change his ways. However, can he be able to stop the evils around him to try and save the one person he loves? Will his addiction to self destruction end him? What happens if the tattoo e boy turns his back on Gerard? Would Gerard be able to hold on then?
