I step out of the car and thanked Ray for driving me home. I enter the apartment building and repeat the procedures I did when getting out of the building, just in reverse. After getting into my apartment, I slammed the bottles on the counter and grabbed one of the bottles of whiskey from the bag. I popped it open and didn't even bother getting a cup. I collapsed on the couch and brought the bottle to my lips.

I flipped on the television and just watched whatever weird comedy show was on until I felt a wave of dizziness wash over me. I took another sip from the bottle. The comedian complained about sex with his wife. Just like every other comedians. I stood up to grab a cup of water. The faucet screeched at me when I turned the knob. I grabbed a cup from the dish drainer (what the hell are the name of those things that keep the dirty dishes in?) and pushed it under the flowing water. I turn the faucet off and walk over to the sofa again.

Just a usual day in the life of Gerard, I think to myself. What is wrong with me...

I put the water on the coffee table, grab the opened bottle of whiskey and chug it. I know I can't finish the bottle in one night. It's impossible unless I want severe alcohol poisoning, but I drink as much as I can. I look at the TV when I put the bottle down. The phone rings and I stand up again. I start walking to the kitchen when I-

"Gerard. Are you awake?" A males voice hummed in a bedroom. I tossed over to see where the voice was coming from. My hazel eyes met a pair of beautiful green eyes. I felt a shock run through my body as I looked around the room. The walls were a dark blue color. Posters of bands covered some areas of the wall. A desk with paper stood in the far right corner. I looked back at the boy and smiled.

"Yeah." I replied tiredly. I rubbed my eyes as I felt his hand clasp my free hand.

"I love you." The boy responded, then placing a kiss on my cheek. We got out of bed after that. We dressed quickly, wearing only baggy pants and a random t-shirts we both found on the floor of the room. We left what looks to be an apartment building. The boy lead the way through the streets of Jersey. He gripped my hand once more as he followed along the sidewalk. The boys hands were covered by skeleton gloves and his fingers tangled with my own. It was a dream but if felt like it was so real.

A bright sun lit up the usually dark streets. Everywhere this boy and I were walking, people greeted us. It seemed like we were quite popular around these parts of town. The boy brought me to an ally and laughed as I tripped over my own feet. Somehow, along the way, we got Starbucks coffee, which we both had a cup in our hands, without me even realizing it. Our free hands gripped each other tightly as the sun glowed down on our faces. The boys eyes looked at me showing pure love. I returned a look of love. He leaned forward and placed a kiss on my lips as I felt an urge to kiss him back. We embraced each other in a kiss of pure love. As we pulled apart from the kiss we stayed holding hands and watched the sun set over the houses and apartment buildings.

As darkness had taken over the ally, a group of guys began walking forward. The outlines of the men's bodies were so obscure in the darkness. A loud bang echoed throughout the ally and the boy collapsed to the ground, pulling me down with him. I cried out in shock as I fell onto boy's limp body. I turned to see the men who shot him but as I found where the men were standing, they faded into the shadows. The now bright, sunny day turned into a dark, gloomy, mournful night. Tears began to slip out of my eyes as I looked at the boys lifeless body. His blank stare sent me over the edge as I wailed and screamed my help. Sirens could be heard in the distance as my heart began to break. I still held the hand of the poor boy who was shot, who seemed to be my lover and continue to cry.
