Hey guys! Long time since I actually started working on this! So I wanted to get down to business and start talking to you guys about what's going on with this story at the moment. So I have written this back when I was in high school. I graduated from high school last June and my experiences are different now and so are my thoughts. I actually have seen someone with an alcohol addiction now and have drunk alcohol so I'm able to create a more realistic feel for this a bit down the road. Also, I'm thinking about changing up Frank's character slightly. Instead of having him be met as like this child person who never had like normal interaction because he was homeless, I might just have him be part of the old friend group in high school. He's a struggling alcoholic too but he's homeless. And they lost touch. That way it's not like Gerard is having some random stranger live in their house. It's someone they both know and its someone who is struggling like Gerard. Just not to the same extent. The prologue and chapter one is done and edited.
Not related to my writing: I wanted to make a HUGE shout out to those who have participated in yesterday's school protests against gun violence in schools! Good on you guys! I hope we can make reform to this country!
