Kenny woke up at seven a.m. after his alarm went off. He rubbed his eyes and sat up. He remembered waking up last night. Kenny sighed and headed to the shower.
"Mom! Dad! I'm going in the shower!" Kenny yelled and then realized no one was home, it was just him.
Kenny began to cry. He fell to the floor onto his knees and laid his upper half on the ground. He sobbed for nearly ten minutes. He controlled himself and stood up. He walked into bathroom and didn't even bother to close the door.
The hot steamy water rushed down from the shower head. Kenny stepped in and let the water soak him. He always felt better with hot warm water rushing down on him.
Kenny began once more to cry. He put his hand against the wall which held him up. He breathed in and out trying to calm down. He thought of Annabel and this made him feel a thousand times better.
Annabel was the only thing he had now that was family. Her friend Emmett was nice too but they were more like acquaintances then friends. Something about him gave Kenny an uneasy feeling.
Whenever they were in the same room with her Emmett did whatever he could to upset him or aggravate him. He just had a weird feeling. Kenny knew Emmett was hiding something from her. He knew his secret. He knew what he was. He knew what he wanted.
Kenny knew this because he wanted the same thing. He was the same thing. He kept the same secret from her. But Kenny kept all this hidden out of love. He believed Emmett was just using her as a toy.
Kenny was going to do whatever it takes to keep Annabel safe. Even if it means hurting her in the process, or himself.
*Thirty Minutes Later.*
Annabel arose from her slumber and yawned. She stretched every inch of her body and stood up. She felt dizzy. She headed to her bathroom to wash off from last nights episode.
Annabel turned the shower onto steaming hot. She enjoyed hot steaming water running down her and she loves the smell of steam from water as well. She jumped in and goosebumps covered her entire body.
She sat down in the shower and closed her eyes. Her head had been hurting her since she woke up last night around twelve a.m. Annabel wondered if she woke up Kenny or Emmett.
She didn't know why but whenever she was in a calm state she always thought about them. For the past couple of months she hasn't had one moment, one thought, without them in it.
Annabel just sat in the shower for the next twenty minutes doing nothing put resting in hot water.
*During Those Twenty Minutes.*
"My god it's morning already?" Emmett asked. He sat up and flopped right back down onto his bed.
"Mom I'm going to eat cereal to-" Emmett almost finished his sentence when all the memories came back. He remembered his mom wasn't home. Neither was his dad. This also went for Annabel and Kenny.
For the past couple of months everyday he would do this. Emmett would start talking to his mom thinking she was still there. Still alive.
"Today is the trial. Today they will read all our parents wills." Emmett said to himself.
He took a quick shower. It wasn't so much fun taking showers anymore. When his parents were still around they would blast music from the t.v. room so loud you could hear it seven streets down.
Emmett loved to sing along to the songs and since it was so loud no one could hear him. His parents knew he sung along. They laughed at him and teased him about it. His father use to do the same thing when he was a kid and he still did when he was an adult as well.
