After Kenny and Annabel's little interruption, Emmett called a taxi to take them to the court house that was twenty minutes away. Kenny walked around the car and hopped in. Emmett waited and then opened the door for Annabel.

She looked at him and flashed a smile. He smiled back and she went in and he followed closing the door. The taxi ended up being tight and small so the crammed in. Annabel was in between Kenny and Emmett.

She was so tight she laid down on them. Her head was on Kenny's lap and her legs laid on Emmett. Today traffic was brutal, the ride was ending up to be an hour in a half long. So Annabel took the chance to rest. She closed her eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep.

As soon as Kenny and Emmett knew she was asleep they looked at each other. Both were uncomfortable, not because of Annabel laying of them but because they were left alone to talk to each other. Kenny looked away and looked down at Annabel's sleeping face. He smiled and relaxed a bit.

Kenny started stroking her hair with his hand and the other hand on her face gently. She signed not knowing what was going on.

"Dude not cool. Your going to wake her up." Emmett hissed.

He didn't like the way he looked at her or the way he touched her. He hated the way she looked at him. She may not know it but whenever he saw her and Kenny together, she was always looking at him in a way she never had looked at him.

"Chill out dude. She seems to not mind. And hey I know you would do the same if you were in my position." Kenny snapped quietly back. He knew Emmett was just jealous that she preferred him more. And it wasn't his fault she just did.

Emmett just sat back onto the car seat and stared out the window. He began stroking her legs and his hand traced her knees in circles. She moved slightly as if it tickled. He just discovered another tickle spot of hers, he grinned.

*At The Court House.*

"Annabel. Hey Annabel wake up sweetie. We're here." Said a voice far away. Annabel shock her head and tried to go back to sleep.

"Five more minutes mom." She said waving her hand in the air.

She opened her eyes to see if she had left and realized she was still in the taxi. She sat up and blushed when she saw Kenny and Emmett laughing at her. She punched them both and hopped out.

"Ow!" They said in unison. They both jumped out rubbing their arms. Her punches had gotten harder. They walked into the court and interpreted the session, they were late.

"I'm sorry your honor for the delay. Bad traffic." Annabel said and walked in and took a seat.

"It's fine my little Annabel we just got to the part you need to hear." Said the judge.

She had known Annabel, Kenny, and Emmett's parents for years. In fact they all grew up together. The judge began reading the will of Emmett Johnson's parents.

*To Emmett Johnson.*

"Emmett Johnson. You have been given everything. The house, clothes, money, cars, family business, pets, everything. The land is in your name now. My condolences on your lost and I hope you do well in life from here and on."

*To Kenny Carter.*

"Kenny Carter. You have been given the houses, cars, pets, businesses, money, everything. My condolences of your lost and I do hope to see great things from you."

*To Annabel Maggie.*

"Annabel Maggie. It says here I must read this letter to you. Would you like to read it own your own or do you want me to read it out loud?" The judge asked her. Annabel looked at her, she was scared. She nodded her in approval. She didn't think she could read it in her own.

"Ok." She opens the paper.

'Dear Annabel, we are so sorry things ended up this way. I hope the best for you in life and in your own mind. We know this must be tough but don't worry. We will be here for you in spirit. Besides you have your two greatest friends by your side. Kenny Carter and Emmett Johnson. They are sweet boys and I hope you never part with them. Goodbye my love.

From, Mom & Dad'

"My condolences. I hope you do great things in life. And that is all. You may all go home." The judge said slamming the gavel to the hard, still wood.

Annabel, Kenny, and Emmett walked outside and went to Annabel's house since it was closest. They decided to walk this time thinking it would be fast, and as they walked the talked, and talked.

"Hey Annabel? Can I sleep over tonight. I don't wanna be alone and after the court thing I need some friend time." Kenny said blushing, he whispered all this in her ear so Emmett couldn't hear. He knew if Emmett heard he would come over too.

"Ok, but what about Emmett? Won't he want to come too?" Annabel asked. She didn't want to exclude him.

"I was thinking maybe just you and me. We really haven't had a night for just us in forever. Come on just one more "Annabel and Kenny" night. Please?" He pleaded. Annabel couldn't say no to his pleading eyes. She felt butterflies in her stomach when he begged like that.

"Ok but next time we invite Emmett. He's my friend too." Annabel said holding back a laugh when Kenny hugged her tightly lifting her off the ground. He spun around a couple of times. Emmett didn't look back, he didn't want to see it.

"Come around seven o'clock ok. You know how to get in." Annabel whispered into Kenny's ear laughing. He got a chill down his spin.
