"Emmett!" Annabel scream as she woke up.
She rubbed her eyes and was breathing heavily. She tried calming down. She had the weirdest dream. No not a dream, a nightmare.
Kenny woke up a minute later and was on alert. He looked at Annabel and saw she was the one who screamed. He sighed and hugged her tightly. She calmed down after about five minutes.
"What is it Annabel?" Kenny asked, holding her tightly to him. Annabel tucked her head into him and cried.
"I saw something take Emmett. I saw it. I saw it." Annabel cried and wouldn't let go. She eventually fell asleep again and so did Kenny.
*The Next Morning.*
Annabel woke up to find Kenny missing. The covers were around her and his place was empty. She looked around in search of him. Annabel found a pair of clothes on the floor and a chair knocked over. It seem like a sign of a struggle.
"Kenny!" Annabel shouted.
She got up and ran all over the bedroom. No one. Annabel ran to the bathroom and froze instantly with her eyes closed.
"Whoa whoa whoa! Annabel!" Kenny ran to get a towel. Annabel hid in her shirt trying to find her way out of this mess.
"Sorry sorry! I thought something happened so I went looking for you." Annabel said before bumping into something.
It was warm and a bit wet. So it was Kenny. Annabel felt something tug on her shirt. She could see again.
"Annabel you startled me.." Kenny said.
Annabel got angry and punched his bare chest and walked away. Before she could escape something grabbed her wrist and pulled her. She ended up against Kenny's chest.
"Annabel what's wrong?" Kenny questioned.
"You scared me you moron!" Annabel shouted.
"Annabel I'm sorry." He said. He didn't mean too.
"I hate it when you do that. You act like Emmett when you do that." She admitted.
"I'm sorry. Here, does Emmett act like this?" Kenny kissed her lips softly and briefly.
That wasn't enough to fill his hunger. The same went for Annabel. He saw her eyes pleading for him to come back. Kenny slammed his lips onto hers, cupping his hand around her neck.
Before anything could be said he lifted her up and brought her to the bed. Kenny slid his hand up her back and everything went away. Things became a blur.
*A While Later.*
Kenny woke up and found Annabel standing up. She was pacing around the pieces of broken wood and metal. Kenny noticed a giant lump in her stomach.
"Um Annabel, explain." Kenny asked.
"Kenny I honestly have no idea. I just woke up and found myself laying on you. And then I noticed this hill in me." Annabel was the brightest red ever.
"Annabel I don't know what happened." Kenny said. He couldn't remember anything from last night.
Then she remembered what happened. She was in here and walked in with Kenny just getting out of the shower. Then he kissed her and brought her to bed. After that things were fuzzy.
She just shook her head and brushed her teeth. When she was done she fell to the floor in pain. She crawled to the toilet and threw up. Kenny ran in. He quickly wrapped a towel around her so nothing would spill on her. He lifted Annabel's hair as she threw up.
"Annabel you ok? Anymore?" He asked.
"No I thinks that's-." She continued to vomit once more.
"Go get my phone. Maybe we can find a medicine to get." Annabel sent Kenny back to the room.
He turned it on to check the time. Once he read it, it said one thirty. But what really caught his eyes was the date. It read August fifteenth 2061. The last date he remembered was December fifth 2060.
"Annabel." Kenny walked in and showed her the phone. Her eyes popped out before she vomited again.
"What? How is that possible?" She asked and then realized.
"Kenny, someone put us under a spell for the past year." She unlocked her phone and saw there were hundreds of notifications.
One read, 'Three missing children. One girl, two boys. Please help find.' There was a picture of them.
"Kenny the entire world of New Orleans have been looking for us." Annabel showed him the text. He sat down next to her.
Kenny looked back at Annabel's stomach. He wasn't sure how she had gained wait. Then he had a moment of clarity. So did she.
"Um Kenny, do you hear that?" Kenny listened hard and heard not just two heart beats. There was something else. He looked down at her stomach.
"Annabel." He said and placed hands on her face.
"Maybe it's a witch trying to trick us." Annabel knew this was no joke.
As she spoke she rubbed her stomach. At least they were ok and weren't affects by the curse.
"But hey, we are mates right. It doesn't matter. It was bound to happen. Besides they seem to be coming soon." Annabel looked at her stomach. She had always wanted to be a mother.
"They?" Kenny asked with a confused face. Then he realized.
"Twins! You're having twins!" He shouted with not anger, but with glee. He kissed her lips and felt something hit his chest slightly.
"Did you feel that?" Annabel asked.
He grabbed Kenny's hand and placed it on her stomach. He looked at her with amazement. The babies were kicking.
*A Month Later.*
"Annabel it's ok. Just a little longer. Hold on." Kenny reassured her.
Annabel scream louder than any person should normally have. Then again, she was in pain. After a minute of screaming and squeezing, a high pitch cry came from nowhere. They another.
"Congratulations ma'am. You have twins. A boy and a girl." Said the doctor.
His hands were bloody and so were the babies. A nurse came and cleaned them up. The doctor left throwing away his ruined gloves.
"What is the boys name?" Asked the nurse. Kenny and Annabel had a silent agreement. They nodded.
"His name is Kai." Kenny said firmly.
"And the little girl?" The nurse asked.
"Her name is Liv." Annabel said breathlessly.
The nurse wrote down the names and then handed Annabel the newborns. She looked at both of them. She kissed their foreheads softly. She then handed them to Kenny. As soon as he held them his heart stopped. He cried silent.
*Another Time. Another Place.*
"Yes my sweet Annabel. Be happy. Be with your mate and newborns. The real surprise is coming soon. And maybe you will get your poor defenseless Emmett back. That is, if he ever wakes up!" Said a voice so deep you could feel it at the bottom of you stomach. So dark it could tear your soul apart. Yet so sad it makes you want to cry.
