Chapter 10

The day seemed to go by really fast. Before you knew it, it was the 10th period. I went to language class and saw Michael and Calum talking. Both of them looked at me. I awkwardly sat down in my seat.

"Ok first we are gonna switch seats.", Mr. Ryan said. Already?! Ugh. I got out of my seat and waited for him to assign my new seat.

"Samantha, right here. James, here. Sophia, here. Michael, here." Great, I'm next to Michael. This can't get any more awkward. We took our seats and didn't even look at each other. What am I supposed to say to him? I mean, just over the weekend we were frickle fracking. He sighed and I was talking my pencil on my desk.

"So we're just gonna pretend like we didn't do it over the weekend.", Michael whispered to me. I gulped. What the heck, how was I supposed to answer that?!
"I'm trying to forget."
"Well that's not nice to say to your fuck partner." What the hell?! He was so understanding Saturday. Now he's just being a douche.
"Don't talk to me that way. I'm already pissed off at Calum."
"I heard. You know, you could loosen up once in a while."
"Why are you being such a jerk?!" He smirked
"I'm having a party tonight. Wanna come?", he asked. I bit my lip. I've never been to a party before.
"I'll pass."
"Oh come on, why are you so uptight?" I started to get more angry.
"Fine. I'll go. What time."

*4 hours later*
I looked at myself in the mirror. I don't look like me. I am wearing a blue tank top, black skinny jeans, some black boots, and more makeup then I usually wear. I curled my hair and I got my purse. I went downstairs and got my keys to go. I called up Paige.

"Hiya Sophia.", she answered.
"Are you going to Michael's party?", I asked.
"Uh no."
"Well now you are. I'll come to pick you up in about 5 minutes."
"But-"
"Ok bye!" I hung up. I need Paige to go with me so I have someone to talk to. A few minutes later, I got in my car and picked up Paige.

"Why do I have to go?", she asked once we got in the car.
"Because I need someone to be by my side."
"Soooo are you gonna talk to Calum?"
"You know what happened today. I'm not very interested in taking to either Michael nor Calum."
"Do you know if Ashton is gonna be there?"
"I don't know. He is the only one of them who hasn't done something to me."
"Girl you know you like Calum. Why don't you just be with him?"
"It's complicated. We hated each other, and all of the sudden I find out he likes me. He wants to take things faster than I want to, and I'm just not ready."
"You had sec with his best friend."
"I'm trying to forget that."

We got to Michael's house and saw a bunch of cars parked outside of it. Paige and I got out and went inside. There was loud music and I could smell alcohol.

"I'm gonna go try to get some water. I'll be back.", Paige said. It was kind of hard to hear her over the loud music.
"No don't leave me here!"
"You'll be fine just stay right here." Ugh. She went off and I awkwardly stood there. I really need to pee. I gotta find a clean bathroom. It will only be a couple of minutes, Paige can find me easily. I started to look around and people were dancing and falling into me. I went upstairs and it was a little quieter. It was pretty dark so I couldn't see where the bathroom was. I opened an random door and hoped for the best. I just walked into a bedroom. Crap. Wait, this is Michaels room. It has band posters everywhere and it is a huge mess. Out of nowhere, Calum was in the room.

"Calum!! You scared me!!", I said.
"Sorry I was just using the bathroom. What are you doing in here?"
"I was trying to loom for a bathroom and I came in here by accident. But I guess I came to the right place."
"Hey, can we talk for a second?" He looked a little nervous.
"Uh sure."
"Sophia I really like you, can't we just date?"
"I told you, I'm not ready for a relationship right now, Calum."
"Sophia, you have to trust me, if you date me now, you can have me forever."
What does he mean by that? What do I do? (DESCRIPTION IKIK) I thought about it for a minute. I told him what he needed to hear.

"Calum, I really like you. But you need to listen. I'm. Not. Ready."
"Oh but you were ready to have sex with Michael?" How does he know about that?
"Who told you about it."
"None of your business." I bit my lip. I started to feel tears in my eyes, so I just left the room and walked downstairs. Why am I such an idiot. I need to find Paige. This is gonna be hard.

I looked around for almost 30 minutes and I still can't find her. Did she go home? I started to get worried. I started to have a panic attack. Shit. Everybody was staring at me. All of the sudden, I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Are you ok? Here, let's take you outside." It was Ashton. Thank god. I nodded and followed him out the door, tears streaming down my face.
"What happened?"
"I couldn't find Paige and-and" I started to freak out again.
"Shh shh calm down its ok.", he said and hugged me. "You'll be alright." I started to calm down.
"I'm gonna take you home. Where do you live?" I told him where I live and we got in his car.
"But what about my car? What about Paige?"
"Paige will have to find someone to drive her home and I can bring the car to your house later tonight. Just give me the keys and I'll pick it up after I drop you off."
"Ok." I gave him my keys and he started driving.
"So, I heard Calum likes you."
"Yeah. I like him too but I'm just not ready for a relationship right now."
"I see. But do you ever think you're gonna date him?"
"I don't know, to be honest."
"Well I'm just gonna tell you this. Calum is a great guy. He was only being mean to you because he wanted to hide his feelings for you. Oh, and we talked to luke about what he did. He said sorry and he didn't know what he was thinking. I would talk to him tomorrow."
"Thanks Ashton. Oh, it's right here." I pointed to my house and he went into the driveway.
"Ok I'll drop off your car and I'll put the keys in that little box thing by your door."
"Ok. Thank you so much Ashton."
"No problem." I got out of the car and waved goodbye to him. I went inside and immediately went to my bathroom. I washed my face off and got on my pajamas. I crawled into bed and just hoped that this night was just a big nightmare.

I feel bad for not updating sorry lol.
