We got to my homeroom, still holding hands. It felt so wrong. Luke kissed me on the forehead and said goodbye. My face turned as red as Gerard Way's hair. Once he left, I saw him. Calum. He was right there the whole time. He got angry and pulled me beside.
"What the fuck was that?!"
"Um well," I can't tell him the truth. What am I supposed to say?!
", we talked last night on the phone and he said he still loves me, so we're going on a date tonight."
"You're just gonna go back to that jerk?!"
"Hey, he's your bandmate!"
"He's still a jerk. I thought you would be smarter than that, Sophia." He pushed past me and went into class. Great, now I'm making people upset.
Calum's POV
I walked into the classroom and sat down angrily. Why the fuck would she ever like Luke again?! I texted Ashton telling him all about what's happening.
Ashton: she seriously likes Luke still?
Calum: yeah it shocked me too
Ashton: but I thought u asked her out?
Calum: no. I don't think she likes me anyways
Ashton: idk man
Calum: she's just so gorgeous. And her laugh drives me crazy. And ugh I just want to be with her so badly
"Calum, what are you doing?!", my teacher said. Shit.
"Uh nothing." I said as I turned off my phone.
"Were you texting?"
"Uh-yeah I was but who cares?" I looked next to me and I saw Sophia was there. Crap. And there was writing on the board. Homeroom is already over?!
"Pull up the text messages right now."
"But-"
"Now." I got on my phone and pulled up the conversation with Ashton and handed him my phone.
" 'She seriously likes Luke still?' 'Yeah it shocked me too.' 'But I thought you asked her out?' 'No. I don't think she likes me anyways.' " He's reading the texts out loud! Sophia looked at me with a confused look. My teacher finished reading our conversation, and both me and Sophia's faces were super red.
"Next time, don't text during class. And you two would make a good couple.", My teacher said and handed me my phone. The class was giggling now, pointing at me and Sophia and whispering.
"Calum, why don't you just leave me alone from now on.", Sophia whispered to me. I can't believe that just happened. I just ruined the whole thing! I felt like throwing up. What am I supposed to do now?
Sophia's POV
Calum really said those things about me?! Now I want to be with him more. I have to act like I'm not interested, I'm "dating" Luke now. I asked to go to the bathroom and I texted Paige real quick.
Sophia: pls answer it's an emergency
Paige: what is it I'm in Spanish rn
Sophia: Calum called me gorgeous and he said he really wants to be with me
Paige: REALLY?! WHAT DID YOU SAY?!
Sophia: i said leave me alone
Paige: WHAT?! I THOUGHT U REALLY LIKE HIM
Sophia: I'll tell u later. Come over tonight.
Paige: OMG OK IM EXCITED
I turned off my phone and got back to class. When I got back in, the class was almost over.
"You were in there too long. After school detention today.", my teacher said as he gave me a detention slip. I sighed, why today?! I dragged myself to my seat and sat down awkwardly next to Calum. He pursed his lips. Oh god I want to leave this hell.
I was so glad after the first period was over. Now time for second period, which means Luke. Shit. When I left my period one class, Luke was right outside waiting for me. How did he get here so fast?
"Hay babe.", Luke said and then kissed my forehead. Ew.
"Hey.", I said awkwardly. He put his arm around me and I saw Calum getting angry. I looked down, my face getting red.
"I'm so sorry you have to sit next to that tool the first period.", Luke said. I was just quiet. How am I supposed to respond to something like that when I have a crush on Calum? That's when I saw Calum walking over to us. Oh no.
"HEY LUKE WHY DONT YOU SAY THAT TO MY FACE?!", he screamed. Luke let go of me and I backed up.
"Fine. You're a tool." People started to gather around them. Oh god.
"YOU KNOW WHAT?! WHY ARE YOU SUCH A JERK?!"
"WELL AT LEAST I CAN GET A GIRL LIKE SOPHIA!"
"GUYS STOP IT RIGHT NOW!", I chimed in. (with a havent u people ever heard of)
That's when everything went black.
When there's all of this Luke and asparagus drama and I'm over here in Michaels lane having a good time.
