Sophia woke up and saw a bright light shining on her face. She blinked for a few seconds to adjust her eyes to the foreign room. Monitors painted the walls, and bouquets of flowers sat on every desk. She saw the IV tube stuck in her arm. She sighed, trying to get herself up.

"Oh sweetie, lay back down. Don't push yourself," a woman said.

"Where am I?" Sophia asked.

""You passed out this morning. Your friends called an ambulance to get you. Your parents are here too, don't worry."

"Passed out? But why?"

"Well," the woman explained, "it seems as if your blood pressure was pretty low and you were dehydrated. Have you been eating normally?" she asked Sophia.

"I mean, I've been really stressed recently. I don't have much of an appetite." Just then, Sophia's mother came in.

"Honey, thank god you're awake! You feeling alright?"

"My head hurts," Sophia said.

"I know, just lay down. Oh, and some of your friends wrote you get well letters," Sophia's mom handed her the letters. "I have to call my boss real quick, I'll be right back."

Sophia looked through the letters, looking at each hand writing. She suddenly saw a scribbled "Sophia" written on the front of one. Calum, of course, she thought to herself. She opened up the paper and started to read.

Sophia,
I'm really sorry about everything. I didn't know all of this drama was getting to you so much. But I need to start being honest. I really like you. I've always liked you. When I saw you and Luke hanging out, I wanted to kill him. And when you and Michael hooked up, I was a wreck. I want you all to myself.

Olivia doesn't matter to me. She's just a filler for you. You're all I've ever wanted. It's always been you, Sophia. I really hope you can forgive me for all the horrible things I've done.

-Calum.

Sophia was crying by the time her mother came back.

"Mom, I want to go see Calum," she said.

"U-um, okay. Okay. Let's do it! Once we get out of here, of course."

A Few Days Later

Sophia got on a blue floral dress and a pair of high heels. She made sure to put extra lip gloss on and curl her hair perfectly. She was waiting for Calum to come over, and she couldn't be happier. She was finally going to be with the man of her dreams.

A knock came from the door, and Sophia ran downstairs. She opened the door to see an older man standing there, beard and all.

"Sophia, it's me. Calum," he said.

"Um, that's not right. You don't look like him," Sophia said as she started to back away.

"It is, see?" He got out his ID and showed it to her. It was Calum.

"You look so different, what happened? It's only been a few days."

"Sophia, it's been a few years."
