~200 Years After~

Dirk groaned as the alarm clock went off, hitting it to the ground. He sighed, at sat up in his bed, rubbing his orange eyes, and putting on his shades, walking to Dave's room. He knocked a few times, until a groan came from behind the door. "Shithead!" Dave yelled out to Dirk. "Love you too, baby bro. Get your ass up!" Dirk shouted back. Dave groaned again, a thud on the floor as Dirk sighed, and went into the kitchen, pouring two bowls with milk, and adding in cereal. Neither Dirk, nor Dave were morning people. Cal was too young to not be a morning person, and follow after his brothers.

Jake woke up his siblings, the three racing downstairs, Jade carefully jumping down the stairs. Jake pre-made pancakes for them, and kissed their heads. "I must be off to work, until later! Pick up at four!" Jake said, running out the door. John rolled his eyes, smiling. "Bye, Jake!" John waved, and picked up the four year old. "So, pancakes, huh?" John asked her. Today was her morning to pick out breakfast. She nods, and giggles. After dinner, John changed, and helped Jade get changed, and grabbed her car seat. Their grandfather works across the street from the highschool that John goes to, so he carpools. He leaves his car with them so John can drive it to school, but John needs to leave it in the school parking lot so their Grandpa can get it back. John puts Jade in the backseat, and buckled her in.

Dave groaned as Dirk stopped in front of Dave's new highschool. Dave waved bye to Cal, and flipped off Dirk. Generally, they have a pretty good relationship, but Dirk wasn't able to homeschool Dave anymore, so he sent him to a normal school.

   -John's POV-

As my side got slammed into a locker, I sighed, trying to move along. Thoughts zoomed through my head, as I slowly got to walking again, snickers traveling down the halls. I duck my head down, and run into my class, and sit down. My teacher smiles at me, and waves, as I smile back. "Hello, Ms. Leo." I said, weakly waving back. "Hello, John." She said, a soft smile on her lips. Shit. That reminds me, oh fuck me. I run to the bathroom, and open my backpack to find the skin color makeup I've spent 20$ on, each. I sigh, the search not showing anything, and look at my face. My lip is still red from the beat up yesterday, my lip still cracked. I sigh again, and make my way back to class, as the bell rang. I ran, and sat in my seat. Art. Art, is my favorite. I missed homeroom by a long shot, but thankfully my homeroom also teaches my first period. I sit, and smile t Ms. Leo. I honestly don't see why she's NOT married. Her orange hair travels the the middle of her back, large green eyes, and freckles everywhere. But I don't like her. I like boys. A-And girls, just mainly boys. But I'm not gay, I swear. The bell rings for class to start, as I get out my sketchpad, and pencils. A tall boy walks in, blond hair, and Aviators on.  He looks like those cool kids, that follow me around and beat the crap out of me. "Class, this is blah blah blah blah," I tune her out, and begin my drawing. I get so caught up in shading, that my pencil broke, not only breaking the led, but my focus too. I flinch, and tap the eraser, more led coming out the bottom. I looks around to see where the new kid sat. Thank GOD  that my teacher likes me, because she sat him all the way on the other side of the room as me.

  -Dave's POV-

As I walked in, I looked around a bit, scanning the room. Right in front of me, sitting in his seat, I see this smaller boy, 5'4 maybe, sitting at his desk, looking up at me. Fuck he's cute. Look away, Strider. I look over to the teacher, who was babbling about something. I look down to the boy, who was quickly drawing something. It looked like a flower, but I don't know that shit. Damn he was pretty good at it too. Look away, Strider! I look away again, as the teacher points at a seat for me. "There you go, Mr. Strider!" She said happily. I nod, and begin to walk that way, catching one more glimpse of the boy. What shocked me, was how blue his eyes were when he looked at me. They looked as if they went on forever, just a sea of blue. I sat in my seat, and took out my sketchpad, and my pencils.

At lunch, I see the blue-eyed wonder. 'Dave, stop.' I thought to myself. '

-John's POV-

I sit next to Rose, Karkat, Vriska, Equius, and Roxy, all of my best friends. Jane sits next to us, too. Jane is my cousin, and we're pretty close. Karkat clearly has some unsaid feelings about me. His grip around my waist tightens a bit, and I look up to see why. A taller boy, somewhere near six foot, walks over. Shit no, fuck oh fucking shit. I scoot closer to Karkat, as he did the same to me. We aren't dating. We've proven that, his girlfriend is one of my best friends, who is unfortunately sick, but Terezi. He's more like a bodyguard. The taller boy cleared his throat. "Hey, sis." He said, ruffling Rose's hair, but staring straight at Karkat. I think it was Karkat. I couldn't tell, since my head was looking down, staring at my lap. Karkat yelled to Rose about something, before continuing on reading.

-Dave's POV-

Is he mad at me for something? I only see the top of his messy hair, and the tops of his sleeves. Now it's time to bring my game up a notch...

At the end of the day, I saw him walking alone. He tugged down his sweater, and kept his head low. I walked quickly towards him, knowing something was wrong. He saw me, and his walk turned into a jog. I sighed, and ran after him, grabbing his arm. He flinched, and brought his backpack up to his face. I let go of his arm, as he looked over the bag. "Please...please don't hurt me..." He said softly. Shock filled my face, and I took a step back. "I won't hurt you." I said. He brought the bag down a little more. "Then why are you here?" He asked, as I blinked a few times. "To see if you needed a friend to walk home with." I said softly. "I-If this is Jack's idea of a g-game..." He started out. "No." I said firmly. The boy put his backpack all the way down, as I caught sight of his cut lip, and bruised cheek. "Here, let me take you to my place." I said, putting my hand out for him. "The name's Dave." I said, smirking. "J-John..." He said back. "Well, nice to meet you, John. I know how to heal these up pretty quickly. We can do it at my place?" I said, as he nodded in agreement.

"John, lift up your shirt." I said, him sitting on the top of the toilet. "No." He said quickly. "This won't hurt!" I said, a towel in my hand. "Yes! Yes it will! A lot!" John argued. "Please, what can hurt that's under a sweater?" I asked. "I don't want you to hate me!" John argued back. " I won't!" I said, sighing. John looked up. "Don't me mad." John said. "John, I won't." I said, as he took off the sweater.

"What are these?" I asked, my eyes wide. "I-I'm sorry..." He said softly.

don't read if you're not ready! Skip the next chapter if you want, since the chapter afterwards won't talk of it (trust me) ))
