((A/N: Yo! Sorry for how depressing that last chapter was! After this chapter, I'll make a chapter of the backgrounds of ALL the characters!))
-Jade's POV-
As I closed the door, I fell to my knees, crying, and feeling miserable. I never said that to anyone. I breath heavily, and close my eyes, until I hear Karkat leaving.

After school, I finally leave the bathroom, hugging Cal closely. I snuggled into him, as he rubbed my back. "Walk home?" He asked, as I nod. Another body slammed into me, hugging me. "Jade!" It was John. "Jade, I never ever said any of those things! Karkat's making things up, and mainly because he doesn't like to be talked to! I promise you!" John said, as I smile up at him, and hugged him back. Cal jumped on Dave's back, as Dave swung John and I over his shoulders, walking us all the way home.
Cal and Dave had to leave, and go back to their house, as John and I linked arms, walking into our home, and racing up the stairs. I giggled, and ran into my room, jumping on my bed. I hear the doorbell ring, as I run down to answer it. "Ca-al!" I giggle, opening the door. "You just left!" I say giggly, as I meet up with Karkat's face in my face. "O-Oh..."
-Karkat's POV-
I see her blushy cheeks, drain with the nice rosy color they were, and her eyebrows burrow. I've never seen such a happy face, turn so sour so fast. I cough a bit, and clear my throat. "U-Um, Jade, I um...I broke up with my girlfriend, and you see, I have these extra tickets to this really crappy movie, but um, would you like to come?" I asked, looking down at her. She smiled, and giggles. "Let me go get my bag, and I'll be right back down!" She giggles, and ran upstairs. I sigh, and smile after her, a soft smile taking over my face. She's so goddamn cute. In two years, I wouldn't be allowed to see her, since the legal age is 18 and up, and I'll be eighteen then.
She came back down, texting someone, and then turning off her phone. "Shall we?" She smiles, as I look down at her green eyes. Just today she told me she didn't want to live, but now she's happy. How broken is this girl?
I open her side of the car for her, and move around to the side, getting into the drivers seat. I drive for a bit, until we actually got there. That was a big ass lie. I got those tickets in the middle of class today, and printed them out as soon as I got home. I smile at her, but she wasn't looking. She was staring outside, smiling softly. I park, and get out, but she was already out. We get up to the front desk, and I gave them my ticket, as she nods, and lets Jade and I in. Three years difference isn't bad, right? God Dammit, Karkat. It's not a date, you just invited her to the movies. I sigh, and we got popcorn, and sat in our seats. Half way through, she leaned her head on my shoulder, and nuzzled into me. 'Oh god oh god what do I do?' I thought, and awkwardly wrapped an arm around her waist, holding her closely, as she just smiled softly into my shoulder. "You smell nice. Not to be creepy." She said, as I chuckle. "You look nice, not to sound creepy." I smirk. I feel her blush on the back on my shoulder, not really, but I could tell she was blushing. She's just like John. I see the razor pop its head out of her jacket pocket, the sharp edge carved with dry blood on it. Soon enough, she fell asleep, as I slowly lifted up her sleeve, her right one, filled with scars. I turn her arm around slowly, and the same thing showed. 'Worthless', she wrote out in scars. I can see new ones. They look like they were from today. I pull up her other sleeve, and it was even worse. The cuts were deeper, and bigger. And one thing she carved into her arm made tears pop in my eyes. 'Waste'. That's what I called her. I called her that. These are from me. I roll her sleeves back down, and lift up the edge of the bottom of her jacket. Not only older scars, but a big bruise from when I pushed her. I don't care if I wake her up anymore. I can't take it. I pulled her up from my shoulder, her eyes fluttering open, as I kissed her , leaning in a bit.
-Jade's POV-
God it was amazing. I slowly kiss back, leaning into Karkat. I feel his hand move to the middle of my back, as he left his other hand under my chin, his thumb and pointer finger keeping my chin tilted up. I melted into the kiss totally, my entire body relaxing. I feel his hand rub my back, as I feel his warm tears on my cheeks. "I don't want to lose you, Harley." He huffed. I looked up at him. "I don't want to lose you either, Vantas." I said back kissing him again. I know he knows about the scars. My sleeves are slightly rolled up, and the ends of my jacket are tilted up. But I don't care right now.
I'm too busy for depression.
((YOU GO JADE! Haha, sorry if this isn't your OTP. *oh well*. A fluff chapter! You're welcome!
