"Woah look at all these flavors!"

Eren and Armin head straight to the display of ice cream like little boys. The three of us girls find a booth for us to sit in.

"So I got word from your father [Y/n], he told me that he misses you very much and that he's currently in Germany."

I get way too excited with that. I miss my dad. More than numbers can express how much I do. I really want to see him again.

"I miss him so much, did you tell him I was doing great?"

She smiles and nods.

"Yeah, I even told him about your relationship."

I choke on my spit and redden.

"W-what did he say?"

"Surprisingly, he sounded very pleased. He also said that once he gets back he would want to know more about Levi."

I smile. I don't know why I got worried about my father's reaction. Of coarse he would approve anyway. And he knows Levi and is aware of how he is. Well at a professional level I guess. He is pretty mature for his age.

Eren and Armin come back with Mikasa, carrying our cones of ice cream. Eren loves ice cream so he bought two cones with two different flavors. Each having to scoops. I chuckle to myself.

The three of them sit. Mikasa Eren and Karla on one side. Armin and I on the other.

"Eren, you're going to get fat."

Mikasa says coldly. She looks at him with a straight face.

"I would have to agree with Mikasa, Eren. I don't want my little boy to get overweight."

Karla pinches Eren's cheek. He reacts by turning red and trying to act cool, while licking on both of his ice cream cones.

"Mother, Mikasa I am a grown man. See how mellow I am this time."

The brunette says rather confident. Armin fakes a smile and whispers in my ear.

"I've been giving him small therapy sessions to control his anger issues."

I make a noise to try to hold in my laughter. Armin does the same. Eren looks at us, confused. A loud bang of a bong gets everyone's attention in the store. Little kids race up to the window, sticking their faces on the clean window.

I laugh and get up, looking out the window as well. Looks like they were setting up the town fair today. The town fair lasts at least one month I think. Year after year the fair gets equally as fun as the last.

I turn back to them and smile widely.

"We should go!"

Eren jumps out of his seat and agrees.

"We should! Mom can we?!"

She chuckles and stands up.

"Yeah, you guys can. Mikasa and I have to do some errands." Karla turns to Armin and Mikasa. "That is if you two would like to join them.."

Mikasa says no and stays beside Karla. Armin declines as well.

"I actually have to meet up with Annie in half an hour. So sorry I guess just the two of you."

Eren and I sigh in unison.

"Okay... I guess. See you later then?"

I say slightly disappointed. I really was hoping all of us could spend time together. Karla reaches into her purse, handing Eren and I $20.
