Beacuse the class was suspended due to the Alpha's visit with his son. The firs day of school wasn't really the first day.

Maddison decided to explore the school grounds besides, there's nothing left to do.

After Jacob left the classroom, the blonde-haired girl left too, leaving Mrs. Scott and her in silence.

'well, I guess since its only the two of us now, I probably introduce myself to you since your new here" Mrs. Scott said

'So as your schedule guide says, Im Mrs. Maria Scott, I will be your Biology Professor for the entire school year. If you have any trouble catching up with the lesson's you can always ask me. she said, with a warm smile plaster in her face.

I looked at her lovely face and smiled at her kindness. If you asked me she doesn't looked like a teacher to me. She looks so young with her auburn hair in a messy bun and fair skin, maybe a few inches taller than mine.

"Nice to meet you mrs. Scott, Im Maddison Ray but you can call me Maddy' I said to her smiling.

'Ok, so Maddy do you have any concerns?' she said.

'well, none so far' as I tilted my head. ''but thank you very much in advance Mrs. Scott'' I said.

Aftrer that, the bell rung so I stand up and grabbed my bag to leave.

"Maddison"

I turned my gaze to her.

"welcome to Monntana High" She said.

I smiled,and continue to walk away.

So now here I am, in the middle of nowhere trying to be familiarize in every corner of the school.

'ahm , Let me see, based on this map the cafeteria was supposed to be here' I mumbled to myself,

looking at the school map Im holding ,and gazed at the open field Im standing.

"which of the two, I got lost beacuse the stupid map is so stupid that it lead me to other place or maybe my infamous so called direction-instinct failed me again". I sighed, looking frustrated at the map that is now crumpled to my dismay. So I just walked and walked until I saw metal door that lead inside the school building.

The school was huge , made of a red bricks all over, with four buildings surrounding the open field. It was according to the school map.

I pushed the door not looking at it. I was looking at my swolen feet for all the walking I made since I got to this school.

"Sorry feet " I whispered.

"Ouch! Bloody hell!" Said the voice behind the door as I pushed it.

My jaw dropped as I saw the girl rubbing her now tomatoed excuse of a forehead.

"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry I didn't meant to" I startled, helping her rubbed her forehead.

"Oh my she does have a strong forehead If I were the one who got bumped that hard , I maybe facing or worse kissing the floor by now". I thought.

"Its ok" She said, just make sure you wouldn't pushed that door so hard again , not everyone in here can stand to be slammed by that metal door, You know.... Humans" still rubbing her forehead.

I look at her amaizingly she was not mad. if I were in her position I would have freaked out buy now but that is after I get my energy back after salmming the door. Maybe, she was a shewolf thats why she's so strong.

She sniffed the air and gasped.

"Oh ! you're a human" she exclaimed, looking at me with her set of green eyes as if it was the first time she actually sees a human .

she was taller than me. Heck! everybody was taller than me. She wore pink plaid blouse with a white short shorts and a white sneakers.

"Geez, I know Im human does everybody have to tell me that. I know that for almost seventeen years of my existence." I rolled my eyes with the thought.

" ahm yeah! " I said, "again I'm sorry, Its all my fault I wasn't looking.

"nah! Im fine, " she said, smiling at me.

"Im Charlie Bruke your new here right? I haven't see you around" while she extended her hand at me.

"Yeah, Im Maddison Ray, Call me Maddy". I said, while shaking her hand.

"where are you heading anyway? There's no class today"

"ahm well, I just wanna look around the school to be familiarized with it and I kinda got lost" I said feeling embarrassed by my mistake "I was hoping to find the cafeteria"

"is that so, I'll walk with you. I dont wanna go out there and drool over that Alpha's son like the other unmated shewolf does." She said, while grabbing her purse on the floor.

"would that be fine, I thought every wolves were required to be there" I said while we slowly walk down the corridor.

"nah! the principal was just so overwhelmed that the Alpha is here, That's why he canceled the class. We have a formal welcome party anyway, its on friday everybody must attend,including humans." Charlie said, looking at me intently

"By the way what are you, a non-shifter or a mate". she said,

Non shifter means you have a wolves for a parents but you were unable to shift instead ,you're stucked to be a human.

Mate means you were sombody's else mate or other half ,wether your a wolf or a human

Not all humans can leave with wolves. It only happens if your mate was a wolf, then you can leave with them. How could they know if your a mate ? It was simple, If you can see them shift.

A mere human can't see a wolf shift to its human form or vice versa. It will just look like a blur to them and after they sleep that day, they eventually forget it. Its how the secret of the wolves are kept.

"A Mate" I answered to her.
