I slowly closed the door, I just can't take it anymore. All this time, my Dad was not really my dad , How could Mom do this to me, I wished I had died with her.

I went back to our room, grabbed some of my things and put it on my backpack. There's no way I will stay another minute on this stupid house. I dont know where to go, but its not safe here anymore, no place was safe unless mom is here beside me, but she's gone now.

"You have to be strong Maddy" I said to myself.

I set a glance over Lily once more.

" I wish I could take you with me Lily, but I dont even know where to go " I whisper, and slowly walked headed to the door.

I passed at my aunt's room and never bother to stop. My life here has been a preview of what is happening in hell but, I never complained nor said a word to my Dad because I don't wanna see him sad or worried about me. But he's also gone now, there's no reason to stay. Now I have to go away as far as I could just to be safe.

As I opened the front door, the winter wind blew to me sending shivers down to my spine and to my entire body. The night was cold, not even a single star can be seen.

I slowly walked while holding the straps of my backback. The only protection I have was my old hoodie, It was a gift from my father a month before mom died.

Now that I think about it, I'm still lucky that Dad has been my dad even thought he's not the real one. I know that he had loved me just as he loved mom.

I'm now getting tired and I can't almost feel my feet. The snow was starting to fall now and the wind blew even more.

A tear falls down my cheek but I quickly brushed it away. I heard a faint howl from a far as if it was joining the pain I feel.

I walked and fell, walked ,and fell to the ground but I always stood up. The cold night sky was the only audienced I have.

After a few more hours of walking my small body refused to function anymore.

I'm now losing my hope.

"Is this the end of it Mom" I sobbed, while holding the necklace my mom gave to me. It was a silver necklace with a wolf shape pendant.

I saw the roadway now, but I cant even lift my feet to take a step..

I crawl and dragged my body to road.

"You can make it just a few more" said the voice from my head.

"No, I can't .. Im so tired and sleepy and so cold too" I said, as I was about to close my eyes,I got blinded by the bright light ahead of me.

"Is that a car? " I murmured

Its a car! my mind jumped in glee.

I crawled again until I was at the middle of the road. The car was approaching now. I raised and waved my hands but the car doesn't seem to slowdown.

"Oh My God! " I exclaimed

its all that I can manage to say. I was waiting for the car to hit me and get over with it but the car never did. Amaizingly, the car stopped just an inch away from my face.

I saw a woman and a man get off from the car.

"Oh God ! Eric ! Its a child " the woman said to the man

"Come on we'll take her" the man said,and I felt like being lift off the ground.

I can't barely see what's happening around me, then I heard the woman said.

"Your safe now my dear, we will take good care of you, whats your name" She asked me.

"Maddy... Maddison" and then everything was gone.

*end of flashback*

"Earth to Maddison Ray" Ethan said, while waving his two big hands at my face.

"What the heck!" I shouted, Ethan brought me to reality again.
