after a few awkward moments..

Im still standing gazing at my mate. I can't find a right way to say that Im his mate but obviously he knows that, since I know for the fact that he can also smell me.

My mate,on the other hand, can't also move on where he stood. He doesn't utter a single word after shouting at me calling me Idiot a while ago.

"maybe his so shock just like me"

I was about to say something when another guy came in and slightly tap my mate's shoulder.

"Hey, Damon why are you standing here,come on man we gotta go to the class. I've heard Mr. Patterson was so strict." The guy said tagging my mate along.

Then the guy noticed me atlast!

He looked at me and then to my mate.

He let a small smile curve on his lips. A knowing smile.

"Come on Damon its not time for wooing around"

He dragged my mate to the class.

I was left on the very same spot looking at my mate and I saw him giving me a second look after he let his friend pulled him.

(DAMON POV)

I was running fast, heading school. My bestfriend Chase was chasing me. Cool huh? the name fits him.perfectly.

This is my first time to attend my class since I got so busy after arriving home. I slowly paced down when I got to the main hall of the school. Just then I heard chase calling for me

"Dude! Wait for me" chase said as he was trying to find a way to get to me.

I looked at him laughing. Girls were blocking his way. So , I walked leaving my bestfriend behind.

"He has to find a way if he wants to attend the class"

My first subject today was math, not my favorite subject. I was looking at my schedule guide although, I know every corner of the school as well as the people around here. but, I don't wanna embarrass myself entering a wrong class incase they have change anything regarding room assiagnments.

Then, I smells something unsual but not in a bad way, Its intoxicating .It gives me warm feeling. My wolf starts to screamed on me.

"it her, its her" he said

"who's her? " I asked him.

But before he could even answer. I bumped into someone.

BLAG!

I authomaticaly shout to the one I got bumped into. How dare he/she didn't notice the Alpha's successor.

"watch where you going Idiot" I shouted with full of my Alpha's authority.

"Ouch" I heard her say.

Then I put my scheduled guide down and looked down on her. She's very small, just barely rearch my shoulder.

Then It hit me. The addicting scent was from her. She slowly turned her gaze at me.

I literally stop breathing,

My mate!

She's very beautiful, soft brown eyes, wavy brown hair that falls perfecly down to her waist, small nose with pouty lips, I can't wait to taste.

But something's wrong ?

The wind blew.

I smelled her, aside from the wonderful scent,She smell's

HUMAN!

My mate was human!

I stared at her she was also looking at me. I can see by her eyes that she knows Im his mate.

I can't find my voice, shock was an understatement.

"She's are mate" my wolf says.

"I know, but she's also a human"

I heard my wolf's angry growl.

I was about to say something when I felt a slight tap on my shoulder.

"Hey, Damon why are you standing here,come on man we gotta go to the class. I've heard Mr. Patterson was so strict." chase said tagging me along.

I still did'nt move, even a single finger.

Chase noticed my mate now.

He smiled, the smile that I've seen on him, when we were still young after he discovers my secret.

"Come on Damon its not time for wooing around"

Chase pulled me even harder.

I let him tagged me along, but I find myself looking over my mate once again.

She was still standing there, on the very same spot I bumped her. Confusion was all over her face.
