I woke up and feel much better now.

"Thanks wolf spirits for this another day in my life" I utter while holding the silvery pendant on my necklace.

Its one of my morning ritual. A habit that I've learned from my real mum.

I streched my legs and arms.

"what a bright day " I said, as I looked at the window then my gaze falls down on the clock beside the bed.

6:30 am

"What the- "

I quickly stromed to the bathroom while taking my clothes off. I totally forgot that my window was completely open without even a curtain to blocked my appearance.

I stormed to the kitchen and saw Ethan eating pancakes.

"Morning sleppy head"

"Morning, Where's Mom and Dad?' I said while eating Ethan's pancakes.

"Mom's helping Dad at the hospital. There has been an attacked"

(Dad was the pack doctor)

My jaw dropped

What? Did I hear him right?

"what attacked? " I only manage to say

"A group of rouges attacked at the clearing there were 5 wolves who were badly injured. They are still lucky some of the patrolling guards saw them and helped them fight the rouges." He said, with the blank expression on his face

Rouges were making their moves now but the question is why only now? I thought to myself. Ethan said, just before I went here,exactly one week ago, the pack was completely rouge free from the past 2months.

"Had they captured them? I mean the rouges, what's their reason anyway? "I asked him.

"Sis, rouges are rouges they will attack whenever they like and wherever they wish, with or without a reason" He said to me with a serous tone

"So that's why Mom says that I should pick you after school dont leave without me. Ok? " He said using a tone for a child

I can only nod to him. Ethan can act a completely jackass sometimes , but when a time like this comes. Im a hundred percent sure. He knows what his doing and he will put his life at stake in order to save us, his family.

I took off on Ethan's car, he insisted to drive me here even though, he doesn't have his first subject today.

"Ahmm I gotta get going" I said looking over him.

"K, take care, I will go to the hospital first and see if they need any help" He said while waving at me.

I watched there, as my brother's car drove away from me.

A slight tap made me turn around.

"Hey, Maddy we should get goin the class will start soon" Charlie said. I looked at her puzzled. She was sniffing the air.

"Ahm ? what exactly are you doin charlie?"

"I smell something great, something like lemon and grass.. No! No! the smell is like strawberries " she said, still sniffing in the air.

charlie then moved beside me, and started sniffing the hell out of me.

"Charlie! "I screamed at her because people were now looking at us with a curious stare.

"Ok! Ok Im sorry, I just cant help it, the smell lingers on my nostril like chewing gums". She said with both of her hands in the air.

I gave her a more puzzled looked.

chewing gums?

" Oh no! we'll be late in history we should probably get goin now". Charlie said, dragging me in the process.

I can only nod at her and let her dragged me towards the school but Im still wondering about the smell she was talking about, but I just can't figure it out for I haven't smell anything at all.

Charlie and I both walked inside our room. And I was stunned for a moment. Its Jacob!

He was at the far corner of the room not minding students blabbering about the attacked.

Charlie dragged me to the far corner where jacob was sitting.

I tighten up my grip on my Backpack's straps.

I want charlie to picked another seats for us but she was stronger than me. She completely pulled me towards her.

Jacob didn't even bother to take a glance on our side even though charlie was making a loud noises pulling some chairs out of our way.

He was still looking at the window lost in his thought.

Charlie and I sat at the corner along with jacob.

It was Jacob, Charlie and me.

"Yo! Jacob! " Charlie said to him.

Oh My! why do you have to do that charlie.but to my amazement Jacob slowly turned his beautiful grey eye on us.

He looked at me first then to charlie and slightly nod at her.

"Jacob why didn't you tell me were classmates in history, by the way I made a new friend she's Maddison she prefers to be called Maddy" charlie said again to him while she point a finger at me.

Geez, Charlie should stop this immediately I can't hardly breath by his stare.

I was about to pull charlie's hair when Jacob speak.

"I didn't know were classmates either until I saw you walked with her". He started saying to charlie and then looked to me again.

" I know her, She's my classmate in Biology " He said while locked his eyes on me.
