Okay, so I know I left this like MONTHS! and i'm really sorry to those who were waiting for a new chapter.
I have had so much going on and writers block kicked in at the wrong time, and i'm still trying to kick through it, so I know this chapter wont be up to standard, but it's just going to be a filler while I work on getting everything back to scratch, so I appologise for the lateness and the crapness that is this chapter, but I hope you like it.

Oh, and there are a few clues in this chapter about what this story is about, and what direction I want to take it in I think (havent quite decided yet)

“I told you, I’ll be fine, you can go home.” I muttered for the third time that hour when Ty looked at the clock again. “You obviously have somewhere to be.”

Ty turned to me but didn’t say anything; he had been quiet the whole three hours we had been here, the waiting room was full of drunk people and I was waiting for my x-ray results.
“Seriously, it’s late, or early, whatever, but you can go home, I can get my dad to pick me up before he goes to work.” I say with a shrug.
“I’m not going anywhere Nova; I brought you here and I’m taking you home.” He said darkly, I had to give him a second look, catching a strange vibe from that one sentence.
“Well can you at least get out of your grump; you’re giving me another headache.” I snapped, to which he merely smiled at.
I looked at the clock then, it was twenty to seven in the morning and I felt like I could fall asleep here in this uncomfortable waiting room chair.
“Back in a minute.” Ty stated as he got to his feet and left the waiting room. Hopefully he had gotten bored and was finally leaving.
I pulled my phone out hoping to text my dad, he would be getting up at seven, only to remember the battery died earlier that night.
Shoving it back in my pocket I grumbled out loud, attracting the attention of a few other waiting people, but ignoring them I closed my eyes and sunk further into my seat, letting the wave of tiredness wash over me for a few seconds.

“I leave you for five minutes and you’re already falling asleep.” I snap my eyes open at the sudden return of Ty and sit up quickly; he was back and had two cups of coffee in his hands.
I take mine gratefully, relishing in the warm bitter smell of it.
“Thank you.” I say, taking a sip of the hot drink and let it push away the wanted sleep.
“You looked like you needed it.” He smirked as he drank his own.
“You don’t.” I commented, he didn’t look at all tired.
“I’m used to this.” He shrugged.
“Sitting in hospital waiting rooms for hours?” I ask, smiling at him.
“No I mean late nights.” He chuckled.
At least he was in a better mood now, just in time too.
“Miss Reid.” The lady at the reception desk called.
“Finally.” I sighed, getting up and going into the doctor’s office where he was waiting with my X-ray results.

“Alright Miss, you don’t have a concussion luckily, but I am going to give you these pain killers, I want you to go home, eat something, take two of these and sleep.” The older man said with a warm smile.
“Whatever you say.” I reply with a grin, that sounded like exactly what I wanted to do.
“Thanks Doctor.” Ty said, taking the little bottle of painkillers from him and pulling me gently from the office by my wrist.

“Someone’s eager to leave.” I comment.
“I’m eager to get you home and in bed.” He replied.
“Easy tiger, I only met you tonight!” I say and burst out laughing.
“Great, you’re hysterical.” Ty says, rolling his eyes.

“Nova, wake up.” I felt someone nudging my arm, which stirred me from the sleep I didn’t know I was in, I groaned and closed my eyes tighter, “Nooo.”
“Jesus.” I heard him vaguely mutter to himself before I fell back into unconsciousness.

The next thing I knew, I was in my own bed, being settled down from the arms of Ty. “Did.. did you carry me up here?” I tried to say, but I think it came out more slurred than anticipated.
“You wouldn’t move, I debated dragging you.” He replied a little too casually, which made me think he really did consider dragging me.
“Don’t go to sleep just yet, I’ll be back in a minute.” Ty said then left my room.

Oh god, he was In my room.
Did I leave any underwear or bras lying around?!
I did a quick sweep of my room to find it all neat and tidy, nothing embarrassing hanging out, luckily.
I sat up further in my bed, a small headache playing by my temples when Ty came back in carrying a bowl of coco puffs and a glass of water.
“The doctor said you had to eat something before you took your painkillers.” Ty informed me, sitting down carefully at the side of my bed, by my legs and passing me the bowl of cereal and placing the glass of water on my bed side table along with the pot of pain killers.

“My dad isn’t here, is he?!” I suddenly panicked, looking at my clock and sighed in relief when I saw it was gone eight, which meant he was already at work.
“Wouldn’t be too fond of you having a guy in your room?” Ty teased.
“No, and I don’t think you would be grinning if he caught you here.” I reply, taking a mouthful of the chocolaty cereal.
Ty looked at my bedside table and saw my family photo, I tried suppressing a grin when his eyebrows shot up, “That him there?” He asked.
“Yep.” I nod, finishing up the bowl.
“He’s uh.. a big guy.” He said.
“I know, he works out a lot.” I say.
“I can definitely tell, what does he work as?” Ty replied.
“He’s a builder now, but he used to be in the army.” I tell him.

We sat in silence for a bit, I waited for my food to settle before I took my pills, Ty spent the time looking around my room, making me feel conscious of it; it was a pretty simple room, the walls were a light blue and my carpet was cream, I hung some white fairy lights up across one half of the room and covered one wall with pictures and things that meant something to me and my double bed sat in the centre of it by the window.

Ty got up and walked over to the picture wall and started looking at it, he paused when he saw some of the drawings I had up there, “Did you draw this?” He asked, pointing at a sketch of me in an old princess type dress standing on a balcony.
“No, Cora did, she drew every drawing up there.” I say, looking past him at the wall; all of her drawings were similar, they had a old timey theme to them, like castles, dragons, princesses; that kind of stuff.

Ty looked at the pictures for a few more moments, “They’re very good.” He finally commented.
He came back over and sat down on my bed once more, staring at the floor with his hands clasped together in his lap.

“Why are you still waiting around?” I finally asked.
“What do you mean?” He turned his head to look at me.
“You could have just dropped me off, hell, you didn’t even have to take me to the hospital.”
Ty laughed then, a short incredulous laugh. “Yeah, but I felt kind of bad.”
I smiled, his laugh being kind of infectious, “Why?”
“You obviously had a shit night, and it’s partly my fault.” He admitted.
“Yeah, no kidding.” I agreed, smiling at him.
He smiled back but then shook his head and stood up, “I should go, anyway.” He quickly said, leaving my room before I could say anything and I shortly heard the front door close after him.

“Well, he’s weird.” I finally decided.
I took some painkillers and settled back into my bed, hoping to get a good few hours of decent sleep before having to go to Cora’s at six.
Peaceful was far from the experience I had when I drifted off, being greeted by unfamiliar nightmares.

I shot up in bed, panting heavily, feeling the sweat on my forehead as I took in my surroundings, feeling relief when I saw I was still in my room.
“What the fuck.” I said in between breaths, quickly grabbing my phone, which had rung, waking me up.
“Hello?” I panted.
“Nova? Are you okay, you sound like you’ve been running, which is ridiculous since it’s you.” Cora’s voice filled my ears.
“No, just had a bad dream.” I said, looking over at the clock seeing it was quarter past five in the evening.
“Aww, poor baby, you slept all day?” She asked.
“Yeah, long story, I’ll tell you about it later.” I said, climbing from my bed and heading over to my wardrobe to find clean clothes to wear.
“Okay, and you need to charge your phone, I hate ringing your house phone, I never know when your dad might answer, he always asks about my plans for the future, I hate adult talk.” Cora moaned as I continued digging through hangers until I found something to put on.
“I know, I get it all the time, I’m gonna head in the shower then I’ll be at yours.” I say, placing my clothes onto my bed and walking into my bathroom.
“Okay supernova, see you soon.” Cora said before hanging up and I jumped in the shower.
