I can't believe my eyes
They must be deceiving me
Showing me only what my heart wishes to see
Because you couldn't have asked me
You couldn't have said yes
So kind, so sweet, so caring, so amazing
I never could've imagined this
Being the luckiest girl in the world
So stunning, so perfect, so incredibly wonderful
It's mind blowing
And to have the opportunity to be by your side
To help fight your demons
To learn every little thing
Everything that makes you so amazing
Well that is an honour
I never could've dreamed To have
To smile for days on end
To have me cheeks rosy red for hours
To giggle like a jovial fool
To have the butterflies back
I hope it's all here to stay
For I have never felt such joy
In all my memories or
All my dreams
I still can't believe you asked
I still can't believe I was given the opportunity
To say yes
I can't believe the conversations we've had
Those perfect conversations that last for hours
And hours until we're almost asleep
These last twenty four hours have been
the best thing to happen to me in a very long time
And I can only hope I can share this feeling
For years to come
